It was indeed a bit... vexing that the Airbender managed to weasel his way out from my grasp. But that's all he could do, run. We would track him and The Avatar wherever they went.
'Father would be more impressed if I defeated them all at once,' I thought. So it wasn't a bad thing that he escaped.
And while I really did want to kill him, I managed to figure a few better uses for him. Even I was the tiniest bit uncomfortable at what fates I conjured up for him in my mind with anger as my fuel. There were worse things than death. I just needed Father to agree to make it reality, as there was no doubt that it would become one.
We would kill The Avatar, no point in keeping him alive when it would take at the very least a decade for the next Avatar to be even remotely combat ready. By then, The Hundred Year War would be over. The Fire Nation would rule over the entire world, and any Avatar born in the water tribes would be indoctrinated as a Fire Nation asset.
But, after my encounter with that Airbender, I did some research on him. And I found quite the interesting family history. His father was a Fire Nation General, and his mother an Earth Kingdom General.
"Forbidden Love, so romantic!" I scoffed.
It's laughable how just like his parents, Kai was a traitor as well. It'd be even more hilarious if he hung like them too. I would make sure to see to it that my vision came to fruition. Just so that I could laugh as I watched the life be suffocated out of him as he can only struggle helplessly, staring at me with resentment, knowing I was the one who caused his demise! But only after he fulfilled the purpose I made specifically for him.
He was a traitor, and not only that, a traitor who made me angry. There wasn't anything I hated more. What was that purpose? Well, only for the worst for someone like him.
His purpose was to be a breeding mare for a new generation of Airbenders. Another of The Bending Arts to be loyally under The Fire Nation's rule.
'What's the phrase again? Fan the flames?' Firebending and Airbending complimented each other.
Yes. As The Crown Princess of The Fire Nation, I would extend the rule of my country for a long time. It would never weaken for as long as I was alive. More strength to command with a wave of my hands.
Yeah, so I thought what would a smart crazy person like Azula come up with when someone made her angry, is a known traitor, and brought up her mother as an insult? The result?
Worse things than what she ever did in canon, I assume. Hopefully I did well with the chapter. Sorry for it being so short.
Your's Truly,
