I watched the little bunny fight using my Mind's Eye.
This quintessence and system are heaven-defying! The Mind's Eye is a unique power I recently created using my remaining quintessence. To think that it could allow me to see from unseen distances and watch the fight is just too convenient.

The fox is now a goner. To think that Sacred Ash is that powerful makes me so pleased. Even as its creator, I underestimated it.
I no longer have a spiritual root and my Dantian is now inexistent. So I can only rely on quintessence to gain power.
That was inevitable. Given old Fu Shi's blatant antagonism to the heavens back then, I am plenty lucky enough that I was able to transmigrate.
I am not truly sure of the nature of my 'coming' here. Whether it is reincarnation or transmigration, I don't care.

Through my Mind's Eye, I watched Bi Yuan skedaddle at the words of the scary croc just below the creek. It does have an impressive mass compared to the crocodiles I know.
In the far future, I imagine it becoming a dinosaur or something. It wouldn't be a bad idea to make the croc a player either. Still, I don't know about its loyalty if it does happen.
I continued to observe Bi Yuan, "It looks like she is farming." I unwittingly commented, weirded by the bizarreness of how close Bi Yuan is to imitating what a 'player' or a 'gamer' is... in every sense of a word...

I attentively watch Bi Yuan's farming. Hmmm... more like, thrashing some random chickens, I think that's a more apt description for the angry bunny.
Bi Yuan seems to be pissed about the croc, that's why she is venting her anger to some random wild chickens and squirrels.
I happily watched her through my Mind's Eye.
Though, that didn't last for long as my Mind's Eye shuts off on its own with my mental concentration slowly declining.
Instead of qi, I now have to rely on mental power huh? I continued to deliberate on my newly acquired superpower.
I remember creating the 'system' through the Heavenly Dao. I didn't move any qi at all in the process. But I do remember spurring my mind.
It was a migraine-inducing process. I won't be able to do it if not for the help of meditation. Manifesting your Dao insights without any cultivation base is suicide after all.
Meditation is the most basic form of cultivation. In every level of cultivation, meditation is a method that never gets useless.
Even as a Perfect Immortal, the pinnacle of cultivation, meditation is deemed very important.

How about mental power? After all, mental power was the foundation of my system's creation.

I continued waiting for my quintessence to go up as I idly observe the world through my Mind's Eye.
This is a breakthrough, I think. There is more to mental power than meets the eye. Who knows, the human mind might actually be holding profundity a mere mortal could never understand.
Three months mercilessly passed and my bones are feeling weaker each day. Sheesh... I am so old...
As the little bunny continued to provide me with food, I lived an easy life.
Too bad, I can't still see a way to improve my quintessence net income.

I don't believe in 'special' talents. Everyone is as talented as another. At the very minimum, I may believe in affinities but not talent— especially, the supreme and heavenly kind.
Personally, I feel that talent is an over-exaggeration of an individual's aptitude— yes, aptitude— a more apt description of what I believe people mistake as 'talent'.
If you are bad at something, then it means that you didn't put in enough effort and time. If you are too good at something, then it means that either you have a 'cheat' or a 'trick'.
According to old Fu Shi's memories, to achieve the second realm, it takes at least a year for an individual to break through from the Martial Tempering realm. This is on the basis that you are a second-generation young master with resources, who always gets praised 'genius'.
Sigh… Some bad memories are coming back to me, anyway—

Still, the rewards are quite scrumptious. Especially considering that my system's players are capped at the 1st stage, the Martial Tempering realm. What I am technically doing is forcefully removing the cap for the little bunny.
