Chương 73: The World belongs to Heroes 2

Thanks to the increased fame of the heroes, the government stopped bothering Nick Fury, Natasha, and Clint. They felt it was a shame that because of their insistence, the Avengers decided to form a separate group from the government.

Fury also felt like what he had created had been stolen from him, after all, he had planned the Avengers for many years, and now they wouldn't obey S.H.I.E.L.D. anymore because of some mistakes.

But at least the group had been created, and thanks to Natasha and Clint, they managed to maintain good contact with the heroes. Fury asked, and Steve Rogers agreed to work with S.H.I.E.L.D while nothing threatened the Earth.

Tony began the renovation of his mansion, he bought land nearby and started creating a great place where the Avengers could live and train if they wanted to. He was thinking about revealing his identity just like Jack did.

Jack was thinking about what to do now that he wouldn't fight against the bad guys anymore, and he knew it would take a long time for the Earth to face another danger. Ultron wouldn't be born, so the next threat that would need the Avengers would only come when Thanos came or if something else happened.

Thinking about this, Jack wanted to see if some things from the movies would happen. He was sure that the events of Thor 2 would happen, so he wanted to be friends with him to save Jane and get the reality gem.

He could also help kill the Dark Elves, but he didn't know if they would attack if he took and hid the reality gem. With the reality gem, he wouldn't have any problems fighting against the Dark Elves.

Jack wouldn't let the events of Iron Man 3 happen. As soon as the fake Mandarin appeared, Jack would go after Aldrich Killian and kill him and all the soldiers from his experiments and arrest the fake Mandarin.

The Extremis could be dangerous if other people found out about it, and Jack didn't want Tony and Pepper to get hurt. So, he would solve that, just like the events of the movie Captain America 2. He would wait for Hydra to attack and destroy Hydra's Helicarriers and kill the Hydra people who revealed themselves.

So the truth was that from the movies, Jack only expected the events of Thor 2 to happen. He would try to prevent the civil war between the heroes if it happened, would try to help Natasha with her problems, and would kill the Hydra members.

He would only meet Black Panther after he resolved his own problems, would meet Ant-Man when he resolved his own problems, and if there was a fight against Thanos, it would be completely different from the movie and with many more heroes participating.

Of course, Jack thought that other problems would appear because in this world, there were many more heroes, there was the Fantastic Four that could always cause a problem, and the X-Men could also cause problems.

Jack just relaxed at his house for an entire week. He didn't need to rest, but he decided to do it for his mental health. During this week, he kept only one clone with Bruce to talk to him.

Despite just relaxing during that week, Jack still tried to understand the knowledge he had stolen from Reed Richards' mind. After all, he had to make that knowledge his own if he wanted to create the things that Reed created.

Jack finally understood what a genius who dedicated several years to science was capable of doing when they had the resources. Even though Tony was also a genius, he focused more on engineering, but Reed studied physics and was the best at it. He also knew engineering to make the things he thought of and created.

During that week, Jack talked a few times with Peter, Tony, and Johnny, and also talked with Ben to tell him that he wasn't angry with him. Jack didn't talk to Susan because he never liked her very much, and even less now.

Jack only wanted the friendship of Johnny and Ben, and if he needed it, he knew that the Fantastic Four would help the Earth. After a few days, Thor appeared and said that he would need Jack's magic to take them to Asgard.

The American government started to ask Thor more and more to deliver Loki. It was different from the last time when they left quickly and S.H.I.E.L.D was helping. Jack didn't want to help because he thought Loki might sense him if he used the space stone.

"I can help you. I prepared the spell I used to come from the Negative Zone to Earth. If this spell can cross dimensions, I think it can take you to Asgard," Jack said.

"Alright, let's go to my apartment and get Loki to go to Asgard soon," Thor said.

Jack opened a portal to Thor's apartment since he left Loki there. Loki was still sitting on the bed, and he looked at Jack with interest. Jack read in Thor's memory where Asgard was, and he saw that Loki didn't notice him using the mind stone.

So Jack began preparing the teleportation spell with his hands. He had to do it to avoid using the space stone. After a good preparation, a portal appeared similar to the ones he made, but it was much thicker, and they could see the space between where they were and Asgard.

Heimdall was surprised to see a portal appearing beside him, and soon Jack, Thor, and Loki arrived in Asgard. Jack closed the portal, and returning to Earth was much easier for him. He looked around and saw beautiful scenery like in the movies.

But it was much more beautiful in person. Jack felt once again that this was the real world and not just a story. Thor was proud that Jack was impressed and introduced him to Heimdall.

Heimdall didn't know Jack well because he couldn't see him in Midgard. Few could hide from Heimdall's eye. Loki could do it sometimes using a lot of magic, but Jack did it all the time.

Heimdall had talked about this to Odin during the Battle of New York. He only found out about Jack when he saw Thor talking to him, and Heimdall couldn't see Thor talking to anyone. To him, Jack was invisible.

Odin couldn't do anything about it because, unlike Loki, Jack wasn't really hiding from Heimdall. Odin knew that a human in Midgard couldn't harm Asgard, even if he was stronger than Thor. After all, Asgard had many warriors.
