Her slender hand softly touched it, it was injured, but nothing that some resting can't solve. It's a Qilin after all.

"I told you and your mother to stay... She didn't listen..." Varete sighed and moved her arms, the next second she moved her arms in a signal and some of the creatures moved, giving way to a flaming horse with wings that approached the Qilin and took it in his mouth, walking back deeper into the Cave.
According to their memories, it's a horse called Tianma, a horse from heaven, and the last time it was seen was thousands of years ago. Its cultivation is surprising, 8th Supreme Purity Divine Thunder.

Not long afterwards all the beasts retired and left the draculines and varete.
Alcina felt some slight killing intent coming her way and turned her head only to notice a massive black wolf staring at her with a scoff before it walked away.

"I have already introduced myself, shouldn't you answer in kind?" Varete faced them with her impassive behaviour, and it itched Catherine's senses all over.
It was as if she was facing a mighty Queen.
"Catherine Rothschild, pleased to make your acquaintance." The Queen said dismissively, opting for not mentioning a title that held no value in this land. The previous her would have proudly mentioned herself as the Queen of England... But here, even a thousand of hers with their kingdoms included were ants without her vampire powers.
"Alcina Dimitrescu, likewise." Alcina was pretty much the same, moreover, she wasn't even a countess anymore.
"This is our daughter, Lu Lingqi" Alcina then introduced Lingqi who simply nodded and stared at Varete with curiosity, mostly about that foreign energy she was emitting.
Varete's eyebrows lifted as she heard the girl is 'their daughter', "Are the two of you in that kind of relationship? Excuse me if I might be overstepping my bounds." She asked politely but didn't await an answer.

The countess and the Queen stared at one another with bewildered expressions, 'that relationship?'
"S-Sorry, buy, what do you mean by 'that' relationship?" Catherine asked with a weary smile but the only thing she received from Varete was a sigh.
"Forget it... If it's alright with you, I don't mind us finding a better place to talk properly. There are plenty of matters to talk about after all..." She said and turned around, indicating for them to follow her, and they complied.
Quite curious about this whole place.
As they walked the three draculines inspected this whole place.
It wasn't different from a forest, except that the ceiling was covered and it was illuminated with what seemed to be artificial light.
"What exactly is this place?" Lingqi was the first one to ask the most curious.

Lingqi maintained her nonchalant expression, but once again she couldn't help but facepalm.

After sitting down, she crossed her sinful legs, letting the dress fall through the edge of her delicious hips, showing her legs to the world.
"Once again, my name is Varete, I'm what you could call a Witch and just like you, I'm not from this world. Others call me the 'Witch of the Endless Abyss'" Having given them their beverages, her complex hat disappeared as if it never existed leaving her red and beautiful hair in a bum.
