A new day had come but it felt like no time had passed. Tensions were high across the country. The government was incredibly busy. America knew that an underwater army was preparing to invade. The storm had spread across the states in the east coast.
Sora could be found with his mistress. The two were in a massive dressing room inside the manor. He leaned against a beautifully sculpted statue. Alice stood in front of him, looking in the wall sized mirror. They both glanced at her clothing before she shook her head.
"Mmm-mmm." She hummed.
The sleepy man snapped his fingers, causing another dress to fly over from its hanger. The lovely doll raised her arms, allowing the current outfit to fly off and the new one to slip on. Only then did Sora actually zip up the back of her dress.
Both of them looked in the mirror for a while. Still, it didn't seem to satisfy the beauty. She shook her head once more.
"Mmm-mmm. I don't like it."
"...Hmmm."
She was back in her undergarments the next moment. The young Lockhart pulled her closer by the waist. Since he was slumped on the statue's platform, Alice was the same height as him.
"How are you feeling? Maybe we can find something based on that." He suggested. The doll thought for a moment.
"Ummmm…"
As the two looked into the mirror, Sora glanced in the reflection's top right corner. A TV was showing another fortress in the middle of the ocean. It was no longer hidden by the storm. This one was right outside of Metropolis. A large military force was slowly revealing itself.
"I think I feel…relaxed." Alice finally spoke.
She noticed the direction of his gaze through the mirror. Only then did she see the boiling tension. The dawn of war had arrived.
"Relaxed? Hmmm…Let's see."
Another outfit floated over. It wasn't really important what it looked like, but it did have some nice thigh high black socks. Sora watched as she lifted her lovely legs, allowing them to slide onto her feet.
Alice didn't know if she liked this outfit either. That was always the case though. Sora nodded before speaking. His hands casually roamed her body.
"...This one looks the best on you. I like it."
His words were like an oasis in the desert. Her empty eyes lit up with joy and she immediately knew this was the one. It always went like this. They would always go through many outfits before he told her that he liked one. She could never make the decision herself. This was just another case of her unconscious reliance on him.
"Okay. This one then." She decided.
"Mnn…" He grunted.
As she enjoyed his casual touches, she realized that he wasn't paying attention to her. That damn TV was stealing his gaze! Stupid mirror!
"Sora?"
"...Hmm?"
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. I'm just curious about it." He commented.
A few more moments went by as they looked through the mirror. Even though his hands hadn't left her body, she felt like it wasn't enough. Alice was addicted to his gaze. She wanted it back on her.
"Sora!"
"Yes, Alice?"
"Are you going to save the world again? When are you-mmmm."
Her words were interrupted. One of his hands had covered her mouth, the middle finger entering those pretty red lips. Sora played with her little tongue and watched through the mirror. His other hand crept in between her legs.
"That's right…I'm going to save these people. Again." He muttered with a sigh.
This was a canon event so of course he'd go check it out. Depending on the universe, this could mean the end of the world. Every single planetary event held the risk of world destruction. One might not think that the Atlanteans were that important, but their victorious rule could lead to the end of the world. Just from their bad decisions as leaders.
None of this mattered to Alice however. His gaze was finally back on her! His golden eyes bored into her through the mirror. As her tongue moved around his finger, he worked her from below. It didn't take long for the depraved beauty to lose the strength in her legs.
She was fully leaning onto him by then. Sora licked both of his fingers before nuzzling against her. He hummed into her ear, his magnetizing voice leaving her warm.
"You'll need to be a good girl while I'm gone."
"Mnn…" She wasn't happy that he was leaving. She never was.
"Look at me."
He cupped her chin which caused her eyes to meet with his. The young Lockhart pulled on the darklight, his hair and eyes changing color. Alice watched it all with a blank expression.
"Did you hear what I just said?"
"I'll be good!" She repeated with a frown.
"...Alright. I'll be quick."
After giving her a loving kiss on the lips, he was gone. More than ten minutes went by before the beautiful doll moved. Her face soon morphed into a psychotic frown. She immediately grabbed the closest thing to her and threw it at the mirror.
CRASH
"Aaaahhhhh!" She screamed in anger.
Destructive sounds could be heard. Her temper tantrum would go on for a few minutes. Once it was over, she looked at the destroyed mess around her. Fear was the next emotion. If Sora noticed this, he wouldn't be happy. Shit! The mistress immediately ran to find a couple maids.
…
…
…
Sora rubbed his temples as he arrived in the clouds above Amnesty Bay. There was a specific lighthouse below where a certain Atlantean lived. It seemed to be in tatters. A battle had most likely taken place earlier. Still, this wasn't his concern.
Alice had been more and more demanding lately. He knew it was his fault for disappearing for so long. It left a crack in the trust he previously built. The divine flower he gave her would definitely help, but it was obvious that she wanted to go with him whenever he left. He'd have to find a way pretty soon.
It was better to think of other things. Sora's body had been growing stronger since devouring Trigon's physical strength. His body was like a container for the universe. Like a cup full of cracks, water would leak. Only now were these cracks mending.
Even though he was constantly in a state of evolution, his body would never be able to keep up. Things were finally much more manageable now. At this moment, both the cosmos and the void were filling him at the same time. Soon he wouldn't need to switch between sources anymore. Same with disguises.
Far below, he could see Batman and Green Lantern investigating the ruined lighthouse. Darkstar tapped his ear which caused the metallic mask to expand over his face. Instead of going down to them, he went in a different direction.
DING
The Flash could be found running across the ocean. Darkstar had appeared beside the hero. Both of them nodded casually.
"Yo. What brings you here?"
"...I'd like to end this before the war starts."
"You and I both, man."
"...Any leads?"
"Yup. You're in luck, Darkstar. I'm headed to the missing key right now. Follow me!"
With a huge burst in speed, Flash shot out like a rocket. The sleepy man wasn't far behind. It wouldn't take long to reach their destination.
Things are starting to ramp up! If you know what comes after this event...you know. Shit is about to get dark. As the tag suggested.
