Chapter 279: Arriving at Zou
"Who the hell told them they could drag me into something like this!" Sanji spat.
"Hey, don't blame the messenger, they are your relatives after all. But to think that you are part of the Vismonke family…that was quite the surprise, to be honest." Bege said.
"Sanjis relatives…now that I think about it, he did mention once that he grew up on the north blue. But when we met, he was in the east blue." Said Nami.
"But if he grew up in the north blue, it means that he must have crossed the Grand Line at least once before becoming a pirate… that's not easy to do." commented Brook.
"Also, the woman he is said to marry…her last name is Charlottes?. That's Big Mom's last name." Sais Robin.
"Eh?!!!, Sanji is marrying into the family of an Emperor?" Chopper looked shocked.
"Won't that also link our crew to hers? Like that short guy over there." Franky pointed at Bege.
"Who are you calling short?!, you bastard!" Shouted the little man.
"Stop your horses!. Who said I'm going to get married? Why should I go along with this farce.?" Sanji looked extremely pissed.
"I already have a crew. My captain is already an Emperor too, and he will one day become the Pirate King!"
"You may want to be more careful with what you say…let me tell you one thing" Bege got closer to Sanji and whispered something in his ear.
Sanji's face went pale.
"How do you know about that?"
"Who do you think we are? Our master is one of the most powerful beings in the world. If she wants someone dead, all she has to do is ask…once. So, what are you going to do?" Asked the short angry man.
Sanji looked very troubled.
"Sanji?, what's wrong?. What did that guy tell you?" Asked Usopp.
"Captain!" Sanji looked at Luffy with determined eyes.
"I request permission to go with them and get married."
"Eh?...you really want to get married now?." Luffy looked confused.
"Sure, I won't stop you from going."
"But…I cannot get married as a member of the Strawhat Pirates. Otherwise, our crews will become attached."
"Mmmm, that is not good then." Said Luffy.
He may be the only one who didn't predict what Sanji was going to ask next.
"That's why… I also need your permission… to resign my position as a Strawhat pirate. Just temporary, until after the wedding at least."
"Temporarily?...so you'll come back then?." Asked Luffy.
"As soon as I can, Captain"
Luffy grinned at hearing that.
"Okay then, I'll allow it. Go get married."
"Thank you….Luffy."
Sanji looked at the rest of the crew, most of them had complicated expressions.
"I'll see you guys ...soon."
"Are we just going to stand here and let him go like that?" Asked Nami in disbelief.
"Nami," Vivi said with a warning tone.
"This is his decision."
"But…"
"Vivi is right. Sanji knows what he is doing. Trust in your friend." Robin told her.
"I don't like this…" Usopp frowned.
Zoro looked at Sanji with a serious expression. The swordman didn't say a word but there was worry in his eyes.

Sanji took some of his things and boarded their ship, going on his way towards Big Mom's island. Leaving the Strawhats traveling the rest of the way to Zou with heavy hearts.
No one said a word during the remainder of the journey.
It only took six more hours until they reached a field of fog.
According to Law, this was a normal occurrence around the area.
"The wind is blowing in the opposite direction, we are changing course!" Franky shouted.
"Fold the sails!" Ordered Nami.
"There is something ahead!" They all saw a massive shadow.
"Is that an island?" Asked Usopp.
"Oi…Tra guy… that's an elephant!" Luffy pointed.
They all saw it clearly now. There was no island, just a gigantic elephant traveling the seas on foot. Its legs were so long that the ocean didn't even reach its knees.
"Are there people actually living up there?" asked Brook.
"Yes. The elephant is called Zunesha, and the Mink tribe has lived there for centuries." Explained Law.
"So that's why you said the log pose would not work to get here…" Nami finally understood.
"How are we getting up there?" Wondered Luffy.
"We will have to climb one of the legs," said Law.
"So, we will need to leave people here with the ship. " Said Usopp.
"I'm kinda okay not having to climb that…"
"I want to meet this mink tribe, but I don't know if I can get up there. "Chopper said while looking upwards.
"So, who wants to go then?" Asked Luffy.
"Vivi, can't you make something with your ice and fly some of us up there?" Asked Nami.
"Yes, I think I can…."
This gave her an idea.
"Hold on, Captain. Let me try something first. I may be able to bring the entire ship up there." Instead of making a small ice platform to lift a few people, she could create a massive one and lift the entire ship. In the past, something like this would be impossible, now...things were different.
"What?!, the entire ship?!" Exclaimed Usopp.
"Are you sure?, I don't want you to over-exert yourself. "Naomi looked at her with worry.
"I should be able to handle this much. Let's see…"
She knelt down and put her hands on the deck while her eyes started to shine brightly.
"Awaken…Undine!"
Her skin transformed into a running torrent of water and the ship started to shake.
"There is something under the ship!" Chopper got to the rails and looked down.
"Is okay, I'm just making an ice platform using the seawater below…" Said Vivi.
"Relax and enjoy the ride…we are going up!"
The ship shocked again and was lifted into the air.
"Whoa!" Usopp cried.
"We are actually floating." Luffy grinned with excitement.
"The entire ship…." said Robin with amazement.
"Don't you dare drop it!" Shouted Franky.
"What kind of magic is this?!" Kinemon looked around.
"Noo!, I'm afraid of heights!" cried Momonosuke.
