Chapter 219: Inside the facility
Back entrance, research laboratory H.
Tashigi(Vivi), Chopper (Sanji), and Kinemon had finally arrived back at the lab.
At first, they were considering going back to the camp where they left the kids, but Kinemon was determined to come here and look for his son and they agreed to help him.
She could also vaguely recall that Luffy and some others were coming here to capture Caesar, so this was the best move for now.
The entrance was blocked by a metal door.
"Leave it to me!" Chopper(Sanji) stood in front of the door.
"I'll have this door opened in no time!"
He roared and managed to transform into Chopper's 'human' form.
While he was punching the metal door without much success, Tashigi(Vivi) was looking around the place.
"Oh!" She found an open window on the first floor.
"bam, bam!" Sanji was punching the door.
"Kinemon, look over there!" She pointed out.
"bam, bam, almost go it!" Chopper(Sanji) shouted.
The samurai looked towards the window.
"Is a bit small, I'm not sure if we can fit through that hole."
"bam, bam, bam!"
"Oi, Sanji, listen -"
"Bam, bam!"
"Would you stop already? The only thing you are going to break are Chopper fists!"
She pointed at the small window.
"Can you go back to your small form and climb through that small window?. Then you can find a way to open the door for us."
"Let's see…" Chopper (Sanji) closed his eyes and focused. His form started to change and reduce in size.
"I think I'm getting the hang of this ability."
"That's great, you may have to fight using that body when we get inside, so be ready." She said.
"Are you worried about me? Don't be, my lovely marine goddess with glasses!" Chopper made a kissing face to her.
Tashigi(Vivi) looked somewhat disgusted at this.
"Stop that!, is so weird to see Chopper doing that…"
"Does he always behave like this?" Asked Kinemon.
"He is usually more forward, I think he is holding back because that's not his body," she Explained.
"How unsightly for a gentleman to behave like that towards an unmarried woman! Do you have no shame?!" shouted the samurai.
"Hey, you have been staring at her ass the entire way here!" Screamed Chopper(Sanji).
"So we're you!" Kinemon shouted back.
"Okay, that's enough! I'm going to start beating you two up if don't stop arguing."
Chopper(Sanji) huffed with annoyance at the samurai one last time before he jumped onto the small window and went inside.
They immediately heard an unknown man scream.
"They found him already?" She was truly surprised. In his current form, Sanji was very small and he had just entered the building, did they have people guarding that window?
"What is this animal? get out of here?" The unknown man screamed.
"Ahh, disgusting!" They heard Chopper(Sanji) cry.
"What's going on up there?" Wondered Kinemon.
A loud commotion started with the sounds of fighting. And then, everything went quiet.
Vivi and Kinemon started at the window with anticipation.
They then saw the head of Chooper(Sanji) poking out of the small window and he did not look happy at all.
"This is a bathroom!" He shouted in agony.
Tashigi(Vivi) made an expression of realization.
"Oh, that makes sense. That's why the window was so small, it was meant for the smell…"
Kinemon just made a disgusted expression.
"This is so gross! , oh god, is everywhere, ahhh!" Chopper's head disappeared after he seemed to slip onto something.
"Should we go help him?..." Kinemon said that but his face revealed his lack of desire to go in there.
The metal doors opened all of a sudden with a slam and two armed men came out.
"What's going on here?!. Who's making all that noise!" the armed man demanded.
Tashigi(Vivi) saw this and immediately jumped into action, moving to the men and knocking them out.
"Looks like we can go in thought here after all. Let's go Kinemon." She stepped over the unconscious men to enter the laboratory.
"What about Sanji?" Kinemon asked while following her.
"I'm sure he will find us…after he has a chance to clean himself a bit." She preferred not to think about that anymore so she put it at the back of her mind and kept walking.
"How cruel!" Exclaimed the honorable samurai.

They kept moving from one corridor to the next but did not encounter any more armed guards.
"Where is everyone?, This place looks abandoned." Said Kinemon.
What they didn't know was that most of the remaining guards had gone to the main entrance in order to help Caesar, leaving just the bare minimum inside the facility.
"How am I going to find my boy if there is no one to question…Momonosuke, where are you?" Kinemon was starting to get desperate.
Vivi wished she was in her own body. Finding the boy would be easy then. But in her current state, her range was very limited.
She kept focusing on finding any nearby signatures, and after much effort, she was able to perceive an individual. Vivi did not recognize the signal so it must be one of the people working for the scientist.
"Kinemon, I can feel someone ahead…someone strong, Be on guard."
The samurai noted and they soon found themselves in a big chamber.
A woman with bird-like features and green hair was staring at them.
"A marine and a samurai, what a peculiar combination." The woman chuckled.
Just when Vivi was about to rebuke her, she felt one more person nearby and by the intensity of the aura, it was probably a child.
"Kinemon, I can feel something below us." She told him in a low tone.
"Below?... Could Momomosuke be locked in a basement?" He considered.
"Find a way to go down...stairs or maybe an elevator. If you find some more guards, make them talk. " She looked at the bird woman.
"I doubt she will tell us anything."
Kimemom frowned.
"I don't think she will let us pass without a fight."
His hand went to the handle of his sword.
"Leave that to me, you go look for your soon." Tashigi(Vivi) told the samurai.
