Chapter 104: The end of Duval
"Don't think that dodging is all this ship can do!" They heard Franky shouting.
After some clanking noises, the mouth of Sunny's figurehead opened up, revealing a cannon inside.
"Awesome!" Both Luffy and Chopper had stars in their eyes.
"What the!...what are they doing?!" Said, Duval.
"Gaon Cannon!" Shouted Franky.
The Sunny sent out a massive blast of compressed air that decimated most of the flying riders remaining and many of the buildings in the hideout.
"That was too awesome!" Luffy was in awe.
"Check that out!." Franky laughed. "The true power of the Sunny!"
"You took out most of my riders in one go…" Said Duval in disbelief.
"That was incredible" Complimented Brook. "I felt my eyes popping out…of course since I am a skeleton I don't have an-"
"Sunny!" Luffy keeps shouting.
"This thing uses three barrels of cola just to prevent the ship itself from being blown away, then uses two more barrels for the shot. So, don't overuse it, okay?" Explained Franky.
They then heard a loud splash of water as the mermaid came out while carrying Sanji with her.
"Camie!" Called Nami.
"Thank goddess, is Sanji okay?" Asked Chopper.
"Guys!, is terrible. Sanji is bleeding a lot!" Said a panicked Camie.
Vivi gave them a look and noticed that Camie was holding Sanji's face pressed against her chest.
"No wonder he is bleeding…"
"Did those guys beat him up?" Asked Chopper.
"No, they didn't. Just when I thought that he was safe, he started bleeding from his nose." Explained Camie.
"From his nose, you say?" Asked a suspicious Nami.
"Oh…just let him drown…that bastard!" Said Usopp.
"Damn you!, you are still alive, Black Leg?" Shouted Duval.
"Hold on Sanji!, I'll get you help!" Cried Camie while pressing him harder.
Luffy approached Duval, who was still mounting his bison.
"You are running out of grunts to throw at us. Are you going to fight yourself or what?"
"You wanna try me?!. Go ahead and experience the power of Motorbaro. Many have fell victim to his mighty horns in the past. He has even torn holes in village dams when they tried to hold him."
"I'll stop him!" Luffy cracked his knuckles.
"We call him the hearth-smashing horn!" Shouted Duval. "Go Motobaro!"
"Watch out, Luffy!" Cried Chopper.
The bison charged at Luffy and this one stopped it with his bare hands.
The horns, although objectively big, were very small in comparison to the rest of its body.
"The horns are nowhere near him!" Shouted Chopper.
"There is no point in us fighting." Luffy looked into the eyes of the bison while he spoke.
Motobaro started to tremble.
"Mm?, what's wrong, Motobaro?" Asked Duval after feeling the trembling getting stronger.
"Something is up with that cow." Observed Zoro.
'Is that what I think it is?' Thought Vivi.
The terrified bison turned around and tried to make a run for it but after a few steps… its eyes turned completely white and fell down, unconscious and with foam coming out of its mouth.
Luffy looked as confused as everyone else, except for one.
Vivi was looking at Luffy in shock. 'That was Conqueror Haki…I felt that strong pressure even if it wasn't directed at me.'
"What the!"
"He passed out."
Usopp and Franky exclaimed.
"What on earth happened?, what did Luffy do?" Asked Nami.
"I didn't do anything…" Luffy scratches his head in confusion.
"Motobaro!...Oh, this is terrible, Motobaro!" Duval tried to wake the bison up but with no results.
"He didn't even attack it. It looked like Luffy won the fight by just talking to it." Said Robin.
"Is that even possible?" Wondered Franky.
"Damn you all, Strawhat pirates!" Shouted an angry Duval.
Luffy was about to face him when someone called for him.
"Wait Luffy." Sanji had all soaked in water and his shirt was covered in blood, but other than that, he looked fine.
"Oh!, Sanji, you made it!" Said Luffy with a smile.
Sanji keeps walking towards Duval." Can you leave this guy to me? I want to be the one that finishes him off."
Luffy chuckled. "Sure!, all yours."
"Blackleg!" Duval spat.
"Finish me off?!. I ain't going to die! Not for as long you exist."
He aimed his harpoon shooter at Sanji and started firing.
Sanji disappeared completely as the harpoons hit the wooden floor.
"What?!. Where did he go?" Duval looked around, trying to find Sanji somewhere.
"Oh!, he can finally make the clothes disappear too!" Exclaimed Luffy.
"Clothes? what are you talking ab-" Duval went to ask but was interrupted by a strong blow to the head.
"Oeil!" The voice of Sanji was heard but he was nowhere to be seen. This was the power of his 'clear-clear-fruit'.
Duval retroceded and aimed his weapon around, trying to find a target but was unable to find it.
"What is this?, where are you- AH!" Duval got kicked again.
"Nez!" and again. "Joue!". Invisible blows keep connecting with his face over and over.
"Bouche!"
"Dents!"
"Menton!"
"Ahgg!...stop…please" Duval begged as he held his mangled face.
Sanji reappeared in the air and launched one more kick to Duval's face.
"Parage shot!"
Duval collapsed on the ground and stopped moving.
"I'm done here. We can leave." Sanji turned around and started to walk away.
The rest of the crew who were on the enemy base did the same. They had already rescued Hacchi and had no more reason to remain here.
As Sanji passed next to Vivi, she could not help to comment.
"I thought you were only nice to women."
Sanji stopped and looked at her.
"You realized, uh? I supposed I felt a slight responsibility for his plight."
Vivi patted him on the shoulder. "You had no responsibility for that at all. That's why I said that you were nice."
"Alright, everyone!" Shouted their Captain. "Is takoyaki time now!"
