Chương 4: New life (4)
it's been two months since Zane was given birth to and he really hasn't seen his father since then. Zane continued to ask his sage some questions about the world. The world he now lived in was called vala, it's several times large than earth but less advanced in technology than earth.
when it comes to terms of power, this world's magic far surpasses the technology of earth. He also found out that there were eight species of life forms humans, elves, demi human, beast men, demons, monsters, dragons and spirit beings.
The most powerful beeing that ever existed on this world was the ancestral demon king, but it disappeared a long time ago and with that a demon lord took control of the whole demon the strength of this demon lord is said to be on par with the ruler of angels, the angel queen.
Well the strongest human couldn't even hold a candle to the power of those two lord. Zane continued to live with his lazy behavior of waking up eating and sleeping.
it was finally the day that Zane would get one percent of his power, but the sage let the cat out of the bag and said it would need to recreate the skills for efficient use and it would take approximately twenty hours. Zane immediately felt sad, well his mother also told him that his cousin would be visiting today and he would finally have someone to play with.
Zane wasn't excited, he didn't need the company of some random kid. shortly after, knocking sounds could be heard on the door. "oh they're here." Sisilia said as she hurriedly opened the door to welcome her sister into the house.
the lady seemed a little bit older than sisilia and seemed to be holding a boy by his hand. the kid looked around five years old, and had a prideful smile.
Sisilia bent down and patted the kids head who just scoffed pushing Sisilia's hand away. This made Zane angry, "who does this kid think he is, showing disrespect to my mother, if I had my powers I would have shot a fire ball at his face." Zane thought to himself as he was crawling playing around with a toy that was powered by magic, it was a bird like toy that once you insert mana into it, it would fly around. Sisilia usually helps Zane with the powering part.
"why don't we let the kids play, and let's have our own talk, I'm sure you have a lot to tell me about your experience." Sisilia's sister said as she released the hand of her child named Bill and told him to go play with Zane.
The two adults went to another room, which had several chairs if it was back on earth it could be called the sitting room.
"Bill will grow to become a fine young man, don't you think?" Sisilia's sister asked. "well, he seems to have a talent for magic I could tell that the magic power he was emitting was comparable to an eight year old despite being only five." Sisilia said. "well unlike your child, despite being a child he should at least posses a bit of magic power but I can't sense anything, I'm afraid your child isn't very talented. Anyways bill is already training to be a knight, he said he wants to take after his father. He's also extremely talented with the sword."Sisilia's sister said.
"you must be proud of him." Sisilia said forcing a smile on her face. Meanwhile something was brewing up with the kids.
"hand over your toy."Bill commanded as he stretched out his hand, But Zane wasn't about to give up to a kid even though he was bigger than him. "oh, you're a rude one, silver haired freak." Bill said dragging the toy from Zane, Zane's grip was easily destroyed by Bill's shear power.
"Damn this brat, just wait for sixteen hours, I'll destroy you, you'll think twice before messing with me." Zane said as he felt the toy leave his hand due to frustration of a kid taking something from him, he managed to stand up staggering to his cradle and wanted to sleep.
"want to sleep eh!, I don't think so." Bill said as he went to Zane's cradle shaking it. When Bill heard the adults coming he quickly pretended as if he was putting Zane to sleep.
"curse you."
