Anna was dressed by her handmaids astonishingly. She wanted to look dazzling in what she was wearing even though it was just black clothes she had. And then again, she had always thought Juverl was a lowlife, in the aspect of not wanting to expose how he feels. He was jealous of August and she knew it.
She walked elegantly to the meeting room, where Juverl and his guest were. She pushed the door open ready to slay and make him jealous. The reason why she wanted to do that, no one knows actually. When she saw his guest was a handsome young man full of life and completely different personalty from her husband's, her goal was quite set.
Anna approached the young man and stood at him as she took a slight bow
"Good greetings to you, gentleman" She greeted.
The young man stood up and took a bow as well "Please excuse all formalities, your highness. Call me Kayden Kross"
Anna knew the name was quite familiar. She
was cracking her head until it struck her. "You mean the 'KAYDEN'? The underworld's most powerful water demon god". She took a step back.
"I guess you don't feel comfortable calling me that"
"Take me to sit. I feel dizzy" (Which she wasn't though)
He took her hand and made her sit beside him. "Do you need to go back to rest, your highness?"
"Oh no. Not now at least. I heard you have something of mine. I'm curious as to what it is"
He chuckled as he brought out something from a bag. It was her veil. She had lost it at the market.
"Gracious grace. You found my blackest veil. I hated it at first but I'll like it now because a gentleman like you brought it back to me"
"Anna I think you should go now. I have things to discuss with him". Juverl said
"But of course. I shall leave you now. Until next time, My Kayden Kross"
"Good evening, your highness"
Anna opened the door and left. She was so disappointed.........in Juverl. She was watching his reaction the whole time and he didn't look jealous at all. She stormed off and went back to her room.
Meanwhile, Juverl and Kayden were having a very serious conversation in the meeting room.
"No" said Juverl
"Yes" Kayden said
"I'm not doing that with you again. Not even if you tell me another fairytale"
"Well, I've got a perfect one for you this time. This one is quite long so I'll have to stay here for a while"
"Namanda, please I don't want to hear -"
"Walk with me, Juve" He stood up and headed towards the garden. "The moral of this story is, kissing under the rain is romantic until lightening strike you both"
"So what's the story?"
"There is no story"
"How can you tell the moral of a story without telling the story itself?"
"What does it sound unreasonable? You told me you didn't want to hear any story of mine. Well I've passed my message now I have to go"
"What message?"
"Think about it"
Juverl was pissed. Kayden has always been this way, saying unreasonable things.
"What are you doing, you goon?". He said and a handsome young man came down from the rooftops.
"You're no fun, Juverl"
"When did you get here, Alex?"
"I've been here for seven months"
"And you didn't feel the need to come see me?"
"I was too lazy to come. Plus, the crown prince kept me"
"Is he pursuing you again?"
"You see, that's exactly what I wanted to talk to you about. It's been six months since I had an unhealthy meal ..."
While Alex was busy blabbing, Juverl was thinking to himself.' I wonder why I get tired of having him around! Oh, that's why"
