On a rainy summer morning, a boy about ten years old, about 145 cm tall, was jogging in the park. Henry took a deep breath and stopped.
"I did 5 laps, 1.5 kilometres, 7.5 kilometres is not bad", he breathed and thought about the past 3.5 years. Now he could hear people's thoughts if he wanted to in the 5 meter space he was in the centre of. In a 2-meter space, he could examine their external memories without looking into their eyes. He could quickly examine his memories, which were not very deep, without being noticed in eye contact.
The benefits of the occlumency structure he established were enormous. He had almost reached photographic memory. His thought process was 5 times that of a normal human being thanks to the supercomputer. And his emotion control was ahh how comfortable, he blocked his emotions and left them only in moments of pleasure. Sport was one of those moments.
Of course, no one around him was aware of this. He was always pretending to be an introvert, a normal child with a slightly above average intelligence. He had not forgotten his status as a future knower.
His parents loved him. He had studied their minds. They were ordinary people. It had been good at some point for them to take his body. He would do better things for them than his son would have done. He would make them forget him. Leave them enough money to follow their dreams and send them away from England. France was his chosen country.
He hadn't done anything with magic yet. He had invested in the health of his body, eating well, learning gymnastics and mma to increase his mobility. He had tried to teach himself how to use a knife. But when that didn't work, he dived into the alleyways of London, caught a few thieves and learned their methods from their memories. He found accessible sources of money and stole from them. He had accumulated about 10,000 pounds, a large sum at the time.
To be safe, he left magic for his Hogwarts days. While the golden trio, the perfect distraction, drew all the attention, he would focus on his magic, perform average at school, and hide until he wanted to. He had read the theory over and over that magic was like muscle. And damn, he loved building muscle.
He had prepared himself enough, his indestructible occlumency defence, his intimidating legilimency level would be enough for him at first. In his first year, he would develop enough magic. He didn't know how proficient he would be in wandless magic, but if he got to the level he wanted, he could accelerate his plans. With the money he had stolen, he would invest it in Gringotts.
He came to his room and grabbed his clothes, and went to the bathroom. He looked at himself in the mirror, black eyes, black hair, above average features. He looked cute at 10 years old. His hand went to his chin. He approached the mirror and grinned as wide as he could.
"Wait motherfuckers, here I come," he said. He had muscles, like ancient Greek statues. In his past life he loved sports. When he was a kid, he used to do callisthenics without knowing it. As he grew up, his psychology deteriorated, and he gave up sports for a long time and fell into fast food. Later in life, he returned to his favourite pastime.
Now, even as a child, he could defend himself in close combat. He showered and dried himself. He went to his room and sat cross-legged on his bed. He meditated. Occlumency training was long over. His new memories were automatically organised, sorted, and filed.
What he did was try to feel his magic. One of his favourite things in his past life was daydreaming. He had watched thousands of movies, hundreds of anime, read hundreds of books and fiction. What he did was to learn about all the different power systems and imagine how he would apply them in his own way, or how he would act if he were the protagonist.
He was running away from reality. He knew it. He didn't care. He believed that when life had no meaning, and the times he lived in were meaningless, he wouldn't notice.
What he was doing now was trying to feel the chakra in Naruto, or try to feel the energy that he had, like the practitioners did in the Chinese novels.
He had succeeded in that. That's not what he was trying to do, he was trying to feel the source of energy, and how he was transforming it or consuming it.
What he found was that he didn't have something like the chakra channels in Naruto. Magic was a unique system. It didn't have anything like the core. But there was a connection with the heartbeat. It was converted into energy, like the breath of Demon Slayer.
He knew that there were ley lines in this world, so there could be magic in the air. So there was energy in the environment, like in Naruto. The difference here was that it was magic, but it didn't absorb body energy or allow you to use the energy around you like a lock and key.
As far as he understood, the benefit of being at Hogwarts was that the intense energy would accelerate energy regeneration, so the process of magic muscle growth would be faster.
He came out of the 3-hour meditation. He breathed deeply. This was one of the trainings he did. He was in the magical world. Why limit himself? He was trying every possibility. And total concentration breathing was one of them.
It didn't really help much. But regular breathing stabilised his heartbeat, with the additional occlumency benefit, the inhibition of emotions. His body didn't release so many chemical enzymes, and with breathing, he reached his current body structure.
He had the musculature of the ancient Greek statues, and he didn't even count calories. In the ancient world, this achievement was laughable.
He'd been working on it for three years. He was almost there. Haki had tried to armament, or conquer. Haki was never his goal. He knew he wasn't in One Piece. His goal was to acquire the ability, similar to observation haki.
His reflexes were good. Too good, but not beyond human limits. He didn't have a haki, but it wasn't essential.
