Yujun sat in his apartment, his eyes red-rimmed and bleary, fixed on the relentless glow of his laptop screen. It was a curious sensation, he thought. In this new world, he'd anticipated many changes, but the nagging weariness that settled into his bones was unexpected.
"I thought I wouldn't be able to feel tired, but here I am," Yujun mused, his fingers dancing across the keyboard with an almost mechanical precision. The lines on his face seemed etched deeper, a testament to the weight of the tasks before him.
As the night wore on, he found himself immersed in a sea of data and reports. The work seemed endless, an unyielding tide of responsibilities that threatened to drown him. "How can he leave so much work?" Yujun muttered, his voice tinged with a note of exasperation. It felt like an injustice, a mountain of tasks left behind by someone else.
