Chương 60: I am sorry

Zoe woke up and saw Robert lying by her side, she pulled the sheets a little away and moved closer to him, caressing his face with the back of her fingers.

"I am sorry" she says a tear escaped her eyes, she wiped her tears and quickly gathered her clothes and vanished from the room.

Robert opened his eyes and she was already gone, he sat on the bed staring at the side of the bed she was just a few moments ago.

"Please don't do it" Robert whispers, caressing the bed and gets out of the bed and walked out of the room and Sandalphon was waiting for him.

"Father" he says seeing him, Sandalphon looks at Robert and sniffles looking at him "son" he replied staring at him.

"What happened? and where is mother?" he asks walking closer to him, Sandalphon was not in a good shape, and Robert could see it "tell me already" he insists but Sandalphon knew this will complicate things and endanger his son's life but he couldn't just walk away, not again.
