"Hey, Eli-" My mom called out to him when he was heading upstairs.
He turned around with a confused look.
"Yeah?"
"Can you send some snacks to the kids?"
Eli turned around and goes to pick up a basket from the table.
"Sure but. We don't know where they are-"
"Just drop it off at the police station it'll reach them eventually."
My mom said as she heads upstairs.
"Ok.."
Eli said, carrying the basket and loading it onto his bike, strapping it down so it wouldn't fall off.
It was early in the day, the birds were still out singing the same song they usually do on a day like this.
He hopped on and kicked up the stand before riding off.

"Ok, Tom, tell me everything you know.." The Detective shined a bright light onto Tom.
Tom, felt nauseous, like his stomach was about to turn in on itself, just the thought of seeing those kids potentially killed, all because of him, was a thing he couldn't accept.
"Answer me!" The Detective shouted at him.
