"Moisten your throat," Xu Pei had sharp ears and eyes. He could hear the noise coming from outside through the door. "What's going on outside?"
Zhou Yan finally won the argument and hung up the phone smugly. "I'll go out and take a look."
When she arrived at the central office, Zhou Yan saw a long line from the inside of the office to the outside. It seemed that the entire publishing house was there except for her. She even saw two people who were supposed to be doing errands.
When the chief accountant saw Zhou Yan, he chuckled, "Sorry, please line up. Don't cut in the line."
The other people in the queue looked down and tried their best to act as if they were very busy. It was obvious that they had tacitly agreed with the chief accountant's intention.
They all thought silently, "We are sorry, but the president has to line up too."
