Selena's POV
Isaac drove us to the capital, and it still felt surreal that I was back in Vazilia Grande. I couldn't believe Pam was working in the company I was applying for, and it was a mystery why I did I need to stay at his house.
My worries were gone because I was with Pam. She was right. She had been my friend ever since we arrived in Santa Clara. And even if we lost communication for how many years because of my stupidity, I still could feel her sincerity towards me.
I am so happy that she helped me to get hired. The fact that she didn't do any interviews and informed her employer that I passed the preliminary interview was enough, and it was a big help to me.
"I can't do this," I said as I looked at the expensive signature clothes in front of me.
"Why, I told you the sky is the limit of our shopping spree, my boss is generous since he closed a big transaction today, and he thought you could be his lucky charm," Pam responded.
