I can see a small piece of heaven in front of us.
I can see a small forest in the middle of a desert, and from this height, I can see the lake that provides all the water for the plants and trees growing around the oasis. I can see many buildings surrounding the small lake.
I can see granite walls surrounding the village… I cannot call it a village because it is not the size of a village but rather a small town. As we get closer, I can now see the wall is around five to six meters tall and two meters thick.
I can also see seven towers, four round towers with a diameter at each corner of the wall, and three lookout towers, three on the south and two on the north.
"This is not a village. This is a town."
I asked the captain, who was walking next to my camel. He looked at me for a second before his face changed into a face of realization.
"Ah, the village is the next place we will visit. This one is the midpoint between three major cities."
