Chapter 072 Wild Wolves

They stopped their journey when it was already dark.

Hans and Gavriel tidied up and prepared a resting place. Hans prepared food and Gavriel took care of the cargo and fed the cows.

Accompanied by Halvir, Anindira and Lila went to clean themselves in the river.

''Be careful, this trip is riskier! We are bringing two women...'' Hans warned in between their activities.

''Um!'' Gavriel answered briefly.

''I'm worried about the Hyenas. They won't let go of the prey they have caught easily,'' Hans added again.

Hans had felt something strange since they had found blood stains and pieces of meat scattered along their path earlier.

''I'm sure Halvir realized that. He hasn't lowered his guard since earlier,'' Gavriel replied, ''I have realized it since earlier... He's great at making them retreat without a fight. If only Halvir had been by Anindira's side at that time.''

Gavriel wailed again with regret but was immediately cut off by Hans.
