The phone on the mini table chimed as messages popped in.

Everly, who was lying on the bed, let out a soft breath and sat up on the bed in a sitting position.

She turned it on and unlocked it to look at the messages.

Her eyes blinked lazily as she read the message and tossed the phone beside her on the bed.

"Arghhhh." She buried her face in the pillow and sighed deeply.

Once she does this kill, she will be left with one more, and once she is done with the last one, it's bye-bye to such a life and she will be able to see her brother again.
