Chương 5: Chapter 5: Knowledge
As I was laying I could hear Dr. Chakwas shuffling around the med bay testing my blood and other things. The scan came to a finish I sat up on the bed and looked at Dr. Chakwas and said "So how different am I?"
She responds "Well the inside of your body is closer to that of a Krogan than a human and your brain is like a Salarians except for a few parts here or there. The fact that you look human is the only original human thing about you. Your brain activity is off the chart by the way it is almost like you are suppressing your full potential of processing speed. You have a Krogan regeneration speed when they are in a blood rage. The strength of an Elcor but the flexibility of a Drell assassin. Your biotic power is off the carts but in this case, hurts you more than helps you as in the fact you can not have a biotic amp to help control your power so be careful when using it. Also on the topic of your biotic power, it seems to be tied to your emotions making it even more unstable. Back to your regeneration, you should be able to regrow limbs given enuff time and energy but that is only if you can lose them. Your body can probably shrug off small-caliber weapon fire. Braking your bones will probably take a sky car hitting you. The one negative that I found is that you have a variant of the Krogan blood rage which makes your biotic power go out of control as well as the other effects. As long as you don't take too much damage you should be good though and that is harder than you think. When I told you your body looks more like a Krogan in the effect that you have perfect tertiary main organs and a secondary nervous system using a neuroconductive fluid. So you are extremely hard to kill on all fronts. Is any other ability you have?"
I was sitting there contemplating what she just told me I decided to tell her about the empath ability that I have she might be able to help me control it. I respond "I also can feel what others around me are feeling and can send some emotions to them as well."
"Well, that explains the anomaly that I saw in your scan. I was wondering if you could help me by using that ability I want to see if it will help some of the crew if that is ok?" she asked
I respond "I would love to help out as long as you can help me control it and teach me some medical knowledge."
"I would love to. Well, you can leave now I believe I have taken enough of your time." She replies.
I get dressed and leave outside of the medical bay I see Shepard talking with the other crew. As she notices me she says her goodbyes and rises to meet me. "Well, then there are only a few people left to show you too. The next person will help you go through your armor and omni tool. Also, where do you want to sleep in the main crew area or do you just want to claim a spot like the other ground crew?" She states as she walks to the elevator.
As we enter the elevator I see Wrex he looks at me and states "You and I are going to fight I want to see you what you got and the others are too squishy."
I respond with a sound good at the same time Shepard says no. I look at her as she turns to me and asks "What do you think you are doing he is a Krogan."
"Well I need to see what my limits are and like he says the others are too squishy. Also, Dr. Chakwas told me that I am closer to that of a Krogan than a human." I respond
"Let me think on it and there will be rules if it does happen," she states with a thoughtful full expression.
"Hear that Kid looks like the ride won't be so boring after all. Ha ha," Wrex says grinning.
As we get to the next floor Shepard and I get off she then introduces me to the Engineers and then to Tali (Tali'Zorah nar Rayya) "she will love to look at the technology you have." she states as soon as the words Technology leaves her mouth I could feel the joy/excitement radiate off Tali.
By the way, Tali is a Quarian about 5'5" in height and like all Quarian she is in an enviro-suits. As she walks toward me she looks at me or more likely my armor I can see the child-like glee in her eyes. "So I need help making sure this armor is bug-free and has no sabotage will you help me with that Tali," I ask politely.
She stands there stunned that I did not look down on her for being a Quarian. As I wave my hand in front of her face she says "I would love to but are you sure you want me to look at your armor."
With a light chuckle, I state, "Well who else would know how to? If you are worried I guess I can help you out as well I would like to know everything that is going on with my armor as well."
As we get to work on going through the armor I ask questions here and there learning about each component Shepard leaves with a shaking of her head. Working with Tali is a blessing I learn so much about engineering as well her bubbly personality helps keep things cheery and fun.
Tali POV
Working with Warden is so nice he learns so quickly I only have to say something once to him and he already gets it. If he were not so good-natured it would have been scary. Also, the fact that he is not racist agest my race is very refreshing most people on the ship have had reservations about me being there but usually come around. Rarely though do they not have any animosity towards me at first. Also, this armor is really advanced so many features are a miracle they were able to fit it all in there. If Humans are this advanced then it is no wonder the rest of the galaxy is worried about how quickly they are advancing. "Human or not this advanced yet this came from a Cerberus facility and it is a prototype. Cerberus only is this far ahead because they don't care about life or ethics when experimenting." Warden State.
"Wait how did you know what I was thinking," I ask nervously.
"Well, you have been muttering as you work it's quite adorable actually" Warden states with a playful tone.
I can feel my cheeks heat up from embarrassment at this moment I am so glad I have a full helmet covering me.
Warden POV
Well, it looks like I embarrassed her might need to hold off on teasing her a little bit but it is so fun and easy to do. We worked for hours and as I was working on the arm guard I found a part I was unfamiliar with as I looked up to ask Tali about it I saw she was fast asleep. I took a moment then got up and carefully picked her up to bring her to her bed. As I got closer to her bed I saw it was surrounded by bits and pieces of every type of machinery that you could imagine. They were in various states of disassemblement. As I carefully when to bed trying not to step on anything I lay her down on her bed and covered her with blankets. I was leaving I started to think now where will I sleep? Well, I will figure that out tomorrow the chair that I was working on was comfortable enuff. As I drifted off to sleep my thought started to remember the day. That was one of the best days that I have had in this universe.
