Chapter 133: Tasked
" So? Are you on our side? " Hakari glanced over at Yuji confused, before he responded,
" Obviously, why the hell else, would I be fighting that strong bastard? " Yuji stared at Hakari shocked by his sudden harsh response, but before he could respond, Nobara quickly asked Hakari a level-headed question.
" Can you use Domain expansion? "
" I can, but since I don't have arms, I can't right now. " Nobara just nodded her head and asked another question,
" Why didn't you use, domain expansion, before he sliced off his arms? "
" Because of a plan, don't worry, we'll have to wait around two minutes, before Yuta, and hopefully Shoko arrives. "
As Hakari explained his situation to Nobara and Yuji, several feet away from them, standing in the stagnated dust cloud were Mute and Mahito standing directly next to each other, Mahito let out a creepy grin, before speaking to Mute, mocking him.
" Looks like you are in a rough condition aren't you, Mute? I can barely sense any curse energy flowing through your body." Mute scoffed at the comment before he responded cockily while crouching down and placing his palm on the dirty ground.
" I could be in a coma, and still be better than you, Mahito. But get ready, they are coming. " Right when Mute said this, Yuji sprinted through the dust cloud with three nails trailing him, the nails were aimed at Mute, while Yuji threw a powerful punch at Mahito. The punch connected with Mahito's chest launching him into the air.
As blood poured out of Mahito's mouth, the nails were closing in on Mute when a wall suddenly emerged from the ground, shielding him from the attack. The nails embedded themselves in the wall before being infused with curse energy, causing the wall to explode. As soon as the wall exploded, Hakari leaped through the rubble throwing a kick, but to Hakari's surprise, Mute had already disappeared.
Hakari quickly slams his legs on the ground coming to a scraping stop, while he glances around trying to find Mute, but unbeknownst to Hakari, Mute is far away, standing on the roof of a collapsed building. Mute took a deep breath before he canceled his stagnation of the dust cloud and watched the dust blow away from a powerful gust.
" Let's see how long you can last Mahito. " Mute said with a grin on his face, as he watched Mahito being overwhelmed by the sheer amount of attacks coming from Yuji. Mute hadn't told Mahito his plan, about fleeing to a nearby building to regain his curse energy, leaving Mahito on his lonesome to battle, Hakari, Yuji, and Nobara.
Mahito was confused by Mute disappearance, but he still tried his hardest to outlast the barrage of attacks coming from the group, but after several exchanges, sweat began to pour down Mahito's face, as he crossed his arms blocking a kick from Hakari, the kick sent out a small shockwave, as Mahito gritted his teeth in pain, and shouted out.
" Where the hell are you, Mute?!-" Right when Mahito said this, his eyes widened, in the corner of his eye, he saw Yuji with his legs spread apart with his right fist tightly balled, Yuji glared at Mahito with complete focus as he threw a mighty punch that warped the air itself, the fist slammed into Mahito gut before vibrant black sparks spewed out from Yuji's knuckles covering the battlefield.
Blood spewed out of Mahito's mouth, as his body was launched through the air until it repeatedly bounced off the ground and collided with a nearby car. Mahito's mangled body lay on the ground, until the sound of laughter rippled through the air, making him glance to his right.
" Well! Done Brother!! " Yelled Todo walking towards, the injured Mahito, Mahito stared at Todo before he let out a small unhearable chuckle, while he gingerly pushed off the floor, in these circumstances, Mahito only had one more trick up his sleeve. A Domain Expansion... One of, 0.2 seconds.
