Chương 123: Rumours

Jessica was scared and humiliated when she was escorted out by two police officers out of the prison building. 

She bowed her head down and covered her face with her hair. 

Along the way to the exit, Jessica could hear people murmuring about her. Some were wondering who she was and what she had done, while those who already heard the rumours that had just spread around, were belittling Jessica. 

These people work at the administration office and front counter, where they deal with those who come to visit the inmates. 

They continued to gossip after Jessica had been escorted out of the building. 

"She was fucking an officer? I thought she's Deputy Trent's woman? Is she cheating on him? Poor Deputy Trent."

"I heard she supplied illegal things to the inmates. Cigarettes, cough syrups, she was the one who smuggled them inside the prison for them."
