Chương 87: Burning

Felix was making a round inside the prison, checking on the prison's condition, after Vince left his office. 

His mind was filled with things that Vince told him about Jasmine's mother. Felix took note to ask his friends from the police department to check about it. 

"Leila Paxton. She changed her last name after she got married. What's her previous surname? Should I ask Jade? Does she even know about it?" Felix mumbled to himself while walking. 

He was pulled out of his wandering thoughts when an officer walked past him and saluted him. 

"Sir," the officer called out to Felix. 

Felix stopped in his tracks and looked at the female officer. He glanced at the officer name tag to read her name, Liana Zhu. 

"Can I help you, officer Zhu?" asked Felix.

"I don't need help, I want to offer my help, may I know where you are heading, sir?" asked the officer. 

"I'm just making a round of the prison, Officer Zhu," answered Felix.
