Chương 114: His Rossa

A few hours had passed and Jeslyn was feeling a little better, still, they were on the road. Jeslyn looked out the window and was surprised to see that they weren't anywhere close to the house yet. 

"Maverick, we haven't gotten anywhere yet." She said while looking out the window.

"You needed to calm down before going home." 

"Which means, you've been driving around the City?!" 

He didn't respond but Jeslyn knew she was right. Jeslyn smiled and whispered, "thank you…it's already midnight. We should return home." 

"Hmm," Maverick turned the car and started heading in the direction of Jeslyn's glass house, a few kilometers outside the City. 

"What plan have you come up with?" Maverick asked out of the blue.

"On…?"

"Your career."

"Oh, I intend to start afresh. I'll sign up with a voice coach for a year or two before I return to the music industry. Like you said, there are better companies in Country M. I'll start from there."
