Malark left the castle of the Warlord Gang after separating from Evan as he had a lot of things to do after the meeting. Meanwhile, Evan didn't return to his room and waited in the outer area of the castle.

After a few minutes, he heard the sound of footsteps and saw Noir coming towards him.

"Thanks for your help during the meeting. If it weren't for you, they wouldn't have agreed to my proposal so easily," Evan said when he saw Noir.

"Not that anything would have changed even if we all disagreed with your proposal," Noir said in a calm voice and stopped some distance away from him.

Evan just smiled slightly when he heard Noir and didn't comment on her remark.

Noir also no longer talked about what had happened in the meeting and went straight to the point.

"The day after you left for the dungeon town I tried to contact the spirit of the Tower of Ascension but unfortunately I got no response from it."
