There was a man who claimed to be a servant of a God, then Nimue who claimed to serve Gremory, then the two World Masters who schemed behind each other's backs.

All of that might make anyone who wants to mess up the settings so no longer interested in doing so.

Because they saw that many other parties were approaching Clyde, there was no point in messing up the settings anymore since Clyde was clear that he would be strong enough to go through everything.
