Chương 82: People fear what they don't know

Veron came back the following evening to meet another unexpected visitor in his house.

His older brother, Jadon, was seated alone in the living room and only turned in his direction when he knew Veron was already close to him.

Veron didn't know how to feel about this. The last time, it was the council members. Now, it was Jadon. Was he here to say the same thing to him?

"Why are you here?" Veron questioned, scowling at his brother. He remained standing, not seeing any reason to sit down and talk with him.

"Because we need to talk," Jadon responded, pushing himself off the chair and walking toward Veron. He only stopped when he was standing right before him.

Veron observed him closely, noticing he had cut his long hair short and was dressed in normal clothes instead of the usual attire they adorned in the palace.
