Chương 6: Caught his interest
AT BLACK MANSION

Old man Black seem very weak sitting on his specially made leather chair, the man seem to be in his early seventies his lazy blue eyes sadly looking at the photo of a certain woman regretfully, just few weeks ago he was diagnosed with diabetes and had low level of insulin, adding to that he has high blood pressure, though they associated his diseases to his old age but Mr Black knew the real course, it was his negligence to his health and bad lifestyle, after death of his only child he had emersed himself with work and nothing else, resulting to deterioration of his health.
Right now his only strength is the thought of meeting his grandson whom he got news was back in the country he had his picture on his hands.
"He sure look like you dear! those clear blue eyes are exactly the same as yours he truly is a Black"Mr Black said sadly as he continued looking at the pictures of a young man that his men has sent to him a while ago, the boy has grown up a lot than he could remember.
The house was very busy as Mr Black ordered for the whole mansion to be rebuilt and innovated, he wanted to give his grandson the best out of everything.
He might not be able to make up for all the years he neglected him but at least he wanted to do something to mend his mistakes.
" soon we are going to meet each other this old man will be waiting for that day to come" Mr Black said emotionally while caressing the photos with his fingers.
AT THE EMS HOSPITAL
Leonard was in one of the VIP room of the hospital and doctors were trying their best to save his life, his body was pale due to loss of a lot of blood.
After waiting for a long time the doctors finally finished their jobs, his wound was dressed and had blood transfusion, by the time Emily went in to see him he was lying on the bed but still lost his concious due to the effect of the drugs,

It has been eight hours but Emily had not left his side since then she kept looking at him like he was an alien who suddenly invaded her world, the mysterious man who gave her another reason to live, she took a closer look at him, his closed eyes and pale face she carefully looked at his long eyelashes making her think ' how can a man have such long eyelashes" she thought inwardly, but then meeting him was a great thing that had happened in her life.
"Leonard thank you very much for giving me the strength to live my life again" she said touching his hairs gently, she knew for sure if he did not appear she would have end up doing the biggest mistake in her life and leave a shame and a heartbreak to her father, speaking of her father he must be on his way to see her now, she wasn't sure of what to say to him once he arrive.
But then soon her father arrived at the hospital and upon seeing her he immediately went to hug her tightly afraid to let go as if she would disappear again.
Mr Smith got the news about what happened, his daughter almost ended her life and he wasn't there to stop her, if not for that unknown man she might have not be here with him right now for that he had asked his men to take extra care of the young man.
"Let's go home dear.. it okay now " he said still touching her hairs gently as he held her in his embrace, only then he felt her body tremble as soft sobs escaped her lips, he noticed that she was crying something that didn't settle well with him, he doesn't like it when his princess cry like that.
"I'm so sorry dad ..I shouldn't have done that.."she said sobbing hard while embracing her father, she knew her father already knew what she wanted to do and he must be very disappointed with her at the moment.
" Shhhh! it okay dear!, now what is important is that you are still here with me but please promise me that you are not going to do that again, Emily you know that I can never bear to lose you, if anything bad happens to you I will not be able to take it "Mr Smith said sadly and it seem that he was afraid, if there was anything precious to him that would be his daughter, he knows that there was some time in his life he had failed her, he was not there when she needed him the most eventually causing the death of his wife leaving little Emily in his care.
Now he was a changed man he wants nothing but his daughters happiness.
"I promise dad I won't do it again" she said still hiding herself on his chest and only then Mr Smith had her go back home although she was reluctant to do so she still end up listening to her father, anyway after all the trouble she had caused that was the least she can do, after taking a look at Leon for the last time she left with a promise to see him again.

Later on grandmother Brown and other family members arrived at EMS hospital not knowing why she was suddenly there but they kept following her.
"Where is he? " grandmother Brown asked immediately after she saw Leon's assistant Henry who was the one who called her a while ago to tell her about Leon's current condition.
"This way please madam"Henry said humbly requesting for her to follow him as he took them to Leon's room, which surprisingly turn out to be a VIP room that too not even a person like Mr Brown can afford easily.
Grandmother Brown look at the assistant to make sure she was going to the right room and he nodded in approval.
Just when they opened the door they were surprised to see how luxurious the room was, meant only for high class but what surprised them the most was the presence of a very handsome man who looked very much alike with Mr Brown but laying on the bed with pale face but his eyes were slightly open, he seem to have just regain his concious looking around only to see his family whom he had not physically seen for almost two decades.
