**Olivia POV
It was difficult but had to be done. Faster than we had come together, I separated myself from Ellis. My heart was hurting as I did.
I wanted to stay with him forever if it was possible. As always reality got in the way, just when we were really happy. Murphy’s Law was very much a thing.
Making my way through the moving crowd, I tried to hold onto my uneasiness at his uninvited arrival. He was luring near the bar, at least giving us some privacy for the coming argument.
I got close enough to sidle up to him, which I did with a minimum of notice from the other guests.
“Olivia,” he said, seeing me approach.
I looked behind me to see if anyone heard. Fortunately, it didn’t look like anyone had.
“Anthony,” I said, trying to be civil.
“Please, call me Uncle Tony, we are family now,” he said.
