Wanting to surprise your wife, you decided to go buy her favorite food to have lunch with her. You had called ahead to ask Jess if she free and when you had been given the all clear, you headed out to L-Corp.
She's a little serious when you first arrive but you just shrug it off as her being a little stressed about work but when she starts giving you her signature look, you can't help but be nervous.
"Babe?"
Lena leans in close to her desk.
"We need to talk."
Those 4 words made you even more nervous and sweaty. Sure, the two of you had some small issues but what married couple didn't?
"Is there a problem Lena?"
She stands up and walks to the glass window.
"Actually, there is. The problem is that every time we..."
"Babe? What's going on?"
Lena gives you a pointed look for interrupting her before continuing.
"Everytime we talk..."
She pauses for a moment, looking towards the outside and then back to you with a smile.
"I fall in love over and over and over again."
You can practically feel your heart slow down when you hear her words.
"Jesus Lena! You scared me, idiot!"
Standing up and making your way to her, you pull her in for a kiss.
"You're so lucky that I love you."
