I once stayed, near a breath-taking meadow,
Where I saw beauty, of all size and colors.
Animals play, in the beautiful meadow,
Small, big, short and long,
Yet only one stood out from all.
A playful hare, with a snowy coat and beady coal eyes,
Caught my attention, though he barely tried.
He only looked, as if he've seen me before,
None of what I did scared him,
He stayed, that fluffy boy.
And when the unusual presense of a stranger felt too alarming,
All of them left-except a certain darling.
The brave hare looked pass the warnings,
All the chances that I, could and may hurt him.
He hopped, closer and closer,
Until we reach a distance,
Close to touching----shoulder to shoulder.
The meadow, now quiet and devoid of colors,
Pronounced the sadness, of this little fellow.
It turned out, that just like me,
He was searching for someone, who would stay than flee.
"Hare in the meadows,
I promise I won't leave."
And by the way his nose moved,
I know he felt pleased.
