Helena sat with the other attendings at one of their lounges, around a round table, as Owen stood in front of them. The room was filled with hushed conversation and whispers, as the different doctors discussed their cases.
As Mark went up to Helena, he pressed a kiss to her forehead from behind, making the girl look up with a dimpled smile. Turning around, she planted a kiss on his lips, a goofy smile taking over her face as he eyes zeroed in on the man's forearm.
Giggling, she pointed at the sticker that was still there from their morning at home, Alice having stuck several of them on the man's arms.
"You forgot to get one." She pointed out with a smile.
Looking down at his arm, Mark chuckled as he peeled off the Hello Kitty sticker, sticking it to his wife's forehead. At that, they both chuckled, before Owen spoke up, Helena peeling it away.
"One last thing, before you go. Some of you, uh, may run into Arizona Robbins today. It's her first day back." The room cheered, everyone looking to Callie and Lena, who still took the sticker off her face. "So, if you see her, just make her feel welcome."
"Or maybe..." Callie tried, looking up from her phone. "Maybe just don't make a big deal at all. It might be better."
"Noted, thank you." The redhead agreed, everyone starting to get up. "Oh, hold on. I just want to address one more thing. Uh, most of you are aware that a group of our doctors have filled a lawsuit against our hospital." At that, Helena and Mark shared a look, the girl biting the inside of her cheek. "Some of you may be wondering what this all means and how it might affect our staff. I'd like to be clear, it doesn't. At all. Let's just let the lawyers worry about that, that's their job. job is to continue to work together and support each other in giving the great standard of care that we have always given. Let's not let something like this get in the way. Thank you."
At that, the doctors disbanded, Helena adjusting the collar of her white coat as she got ready for the day. Arizona was back, which meant today had to be perfect.

The twisted trio walked down the hallway after the meeting, as Meredith let out. "It was good that Owen said that about the lawsuit."
"What? His 'one big family' crap? It's very sweet, unless you're me." Cristina rolled her eyes.
"It needed to be said. Plus, maybe it will make everyone not hate us." The short girl scrunched up her face a bit. "I heard some nurses already..."
"It needed to be said unless you're the deformed wife chained in the attic." The curly haired doctor scoffed.
"Well, what do you wanna be to him?" Meredith questioned. "You left him, do you want to be something else?"
"Well, I don't wanna be chained to the attic." Cristina pointed out with a shrug.
"Hey, guys, have you seen Jackson?" April asked them, approaching the trio. "He's not answering my texts."
"Nope, don't think so, Keps." Helena told her, before Cristina teased.
"Why, you looking for some Jackson action?" At that, all the three girls chuckled, Helena shaking her head. "Oh my God. What did I tell you? Thirty years as a nun and she cannot get enough."
At that, Helena smacked the back of her head, even through her giggled.
"So, you haven't seen him either?" The redhead tried, unamused.
"No, but we will tell you that you really, really, really need to see him if-" Meredith started, as April sighed and frustration and walked past them.
"Did she look worried to you? She looked worried, didn't she?" Helena furrowed her brows.
"It's Kepner, Baby Einstein. She always looks worried." Cristina pointed out, making Helena shake her worry away.
——
"Red eagle has landed." Someone whispered into Helena's ear, who charted by the main floor's nurses station.
At that, she jumped and let out a squeal. "Oh, God, Callie." She looked to the woman, her hand over her fast beating heart. "?"
"Arizona just got here. I had an intern wait at the entrance and then text me when they saw here." She explained, nervously playing with her phone. "I also put the weirdo over there on wheelchair duty."
Helena followed the woman's eyes to Heather Brooks, who gave them a thumbs up, a wheelchair with her. "Oh, I know you're nervous, but don't be mean. Cristina and Meredith do enough of bullying the interns already."
"Ok, ok, but listen. She'll be tired and in pain, but she won't ask for it unless she sees it's close by. Just shove it in her face. She hates that." Callie warned.
"Call, I've got her, ok? I've been going over to your apartment at least every other day since I got back to work, to keep her updated. Don't worry." Helena told her friend, who shot her a grateful smile.
Callie's smile quickly faded into a expression of worry again as she noticed her wife walking out of the elevator. "Oh, red eagle. Don't- don't look up! Keep reading." She instructed as Helena nodded, looking back down at her paperwork.
"Hi!" Arizona greeted them when she reached them, leaning on her walking stick.
"Morning, Arizona." Helena smiled at the blond.
"Good, you're here!" Callie let out. "I gotta run. Derek's all 'fix my hand, no rest till I'm healed'!" The woman awkwardly formed a claw with her hand, letting out. "."
At that, Helena giggled, Callie pressing a kiss to her wife's cheek as she walked away.
"We have a big schedule today." Helena announced, as she began walking with the older attending. "We have a nine year old who came in last night with abdominal pain, a six year old with Wilms' Tumor and a ten year old for a kidney transplant. He's a sweet one, you're gonna like him."
Behind them, Brooks followed with the wheelchair, which squeaked quietly.
