The spar was stopped before it could escalate into a death brawl and this was a good thing considering that they were in the middle of a war.

The other warriors couldn't understand but something in both men drove them to want to destroy the other.

Tyr didn't understand it quite yet but he knew that his body deemed Salgard a threat but why? He didn't know.

Salgard hadn't done anything but tease him so far so it was a bit extreme to want to kill him in return even though he nearly got Tyr executed.

Salgard got up to his feet and looked at Tyr, he smirked because this was the first time that Tyr took him seriously enough to use some of his strength.

Ragnar would have frowned upon this but the Vikings were a warrior race, and this acted as an excellent way to get the people's blood pumping.

This was what they lived for but Ragnar was surprised that Tyr was able to injure Salgard.
