A minute passed as everyone shifted and got more 'comfortable,' though that word could hardly apply in most cases. With Dahlia now awake and Euryale seeming to not intend to immediately go on the offensive, it was decided that standing around or laying on the floor was just a tad too uncomfortable for something that might become a rather long talk. With that in mind, Dahlia grew vines of her own and constructed chairs, couches and other furniture for everyone to settle down on. Even a table was formed and Josie went about the rather mundane routine of making tea; the Marquise even seemed to appreciate the distraction from everything else that was going on.
Yay! Happy 200th chapter!!!!! We're past 535,000 words, 600,000 views (though I question that number a little bit) and 2400 collections! Also, this week is the first time (I'm aware of at least) of surpassing 300 powerstones within a week and it just feels like so many milestones have been hit! I'm very very happy and proud~ Thank you soooooo so much for your support!
Now, I aught to address this chapter too as well as Euryale in general. Some of the chapters I'm releasing in today's mass release event are a bit shorter than usual, and I appologise. I had to speed things along and make sure I could release all five today so I hope things don't feel rushed.
On the other hand, Euryale herself has been anything *but* rushed. She's a character that I first imagined about 8 months ago while I was planning the Calanthian arc and I had her initial design figured out pretty early on. As time went on though, she ended up being far more powerful and important than the original one-off encounter I had planned and she developed much further. Frankly, I'm not entirely sure how much I'll reveal about her, but at least for now lots of stuff will remain hidden or obscure. I hope you like her though!
Also also, as a side note, while most of Euryale was fully original, I noticed that she has a really strong resemblance to a character I love from a different author's work. I'm pretty sure my contract doesn't let me do shout outs like that but... I just wanted to send a mental thankyou to that author as they almost certainly subconciously affected Euryale's personality.
Anywayyyy, sorry for rambling, but all of that felt important. Once again, thank you for all of your support and, as always, I hope you're having a wonderful day <3
