Chương 100: Caleb's Memory - (Storm's Point of View)

"I'm okay. I can take care of myself," he replies stiffly with none of the Callum King attitude. Quinn looks a bit hurt by his reaction but shakes his head. "Technically I'm still your guardian. I know you are an adult and all that but I was worried. You're like family."

"Can we have this reunion later? A lot is going on that you need to be updated on, but most of that can wait. Right before you got here a new revelation came to light."

I change the subject because I can feel Callum's distress even though I don't fully understand the reason for it.

Quinn tears his eyes away from Callum to look at Caleb, who is still staring at Callum. "Hey, Caleb. Did you remember something more?"

Caleb doesn't speak, still seemingly stupified.

"It turns out that Callum is the one who sent the kids to me," I update Quinn.

He turns to me with shocked eyes. "What?"

"They were wolves, and once I got them out I didn't know where else to take them to. I knew they would be safe with you."
