Callum lights up like a kid on Christmas Day, making Kai suspicious.

"Why are you so excited?"

"Are you kidding? It's been ages since I got to work magic with Storm. Plus, I rarely get the opportunity to work on something this complex. Of course, I'm excited."

I shrug when Kai turns to me with raised brows. "He loves challenging magic."

"I thought he said his plan was simple."

"The plan may be simple but the magic is not."

Removing the privacy spell I put up earlier, I nod at Callum. "I'm ready. You can take Ed solo."

Callum grins and calls Ed on his phone. He comes out a few seconds later, looking confused before his expression clears. "Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot to bring out the replacement cards. It's rather unfortunate you lost your wallet with all your cards. It's lovely seeing your friends again, Callum. I'll just be a minute if you don't mind."
