Chương 71: Using Magic - (Makai's Point of View)

"I wish I could cook with magic," Storm laments after wiping off his lips. "This was delicious."

"I agree-" I pause as something comes to me.

"What is it?" Storm asks when I stop talking.

"Magic. We keep forgetting one of the reasons you're a Raai. Your magic. It is essential for finding the artifacts."

"How? It has been spelled from being found with a seeking spell."

"True," I allow, "however, that just removes the quickest way of finding it. We can't find it quickly without using magic. We only have to be smart about how to use the magic."

He nods. "What do you have in mind?"

"The artifact is magic, right?" I ask him to confirm.

He nods again.

"That means that it pulses with magic. You can't retrieve it with magic but you can feel the magic if you're close enough."

He becomes excited. "I don't even have to be close enough. I can send out the map again with a magic-seeking beam to indicate the rooms that have a magic object."
