Chương 52: Cute - (Storm's Point of View)

When my phone starts ringing, I give Makai an apologetic look and reach for it. I pick up the call, holding the phone away from my ear with a grimace when Adam starts yelling in my ear.

"For Goddess' sake, Adam! Do you want to destroy my eardrum?"

"Why didn't you tell us you were traveling? We just found out from your mom that you had gone on a trip with your mate." His voice was accusatory and hurt.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you would come and visit today! I meant to call you yesterday but it's been hectic and it slipped my mind."

"You- you didn't know? Storm, we had plans today, or did you forget?" This is Rowan, his twin.

It occurs to me just then that I seem to have close connections with twins, considering Makai is one.

My eyes widen when I remember that we did indeed have plans today. It completely slipped my mind.
