Ford stood up straight. His hands are folded in front of his chest. His eyes stare far ahead, towards the horizon which now has shades of blue, from white to dark blue, with a bias of red and orange that is getting wider and wider.
The sun is moving very slowly, towards sunset at the limit of the horizon.
Javin drew closer, walking barefoot on the soft sand. He just finished ordering a room and choosing a menu for dinner that will be delivered to the room.
Javin stood beside the unmoved Forth. Realizing that someone was next to him, Forth turned his head.
"It's finished?" he asked.
"That's it, Phi. They will deliver an extra mattress along with dinner later," said Javin with a smile. "You like this place?"
Forth smiled faintly and sat on the sand, stretching out casually. "The beach is nice, clean and quiet. I like it."
The wind at night blows quite hard. Javin shuddered. The shirt is too thin. He shouldn't have left his coat in the room.
Forth turned around. "Cold?" he asked.
"A little," replied Javin.
Forth pulled Javin's hand gently. "Sit close to me."
Javin glanced at the man beside him in surprise. Forth pulled Javin closer to his body and without saying anything, he moved behind Javin's body and embraced Javin by his waist.
Forth placed his chin on Javin's shoulder casually, even though Javin's heart rate was more than double his normal rate.
A thousand butterfly wings rubbed against each other on Javin's stomach when he felt Forth's warm breath near his neck and cheeks.
"Phi," Javin called out in a trembling voice. "Can I ask you something?"
"Hmm?" replied Forth without taking his eyes off the horizon which was getting redder for a second.
"Wh-why did Phi ask if I have a sister or not? Yesterday?" Javin asked cautiously.
Forth didn't answer right away. "I just feel like I've known someone who looks like you, only she's a girl," Forth replied later. "Since the first time I saw you, you always remind me of her."
Javin was about to turn around, but held himself back because he knew his nose would bump into Forth's cheek if he turned. "Is that the person you've been looking for?"
"Yes. I met her when I was a teenager and she was a child. It was hard to find her because I knew so little about her, but I need to see her again because I have something to tell her."
Javin was stunned to hear Forth's words. That little girl must have grown up by now. Maybe Forth liked her when they first met, then they split up, and Forth couldn't move on from that girl. How lucky she is.
Javin suddenly felt uncomfortable being in a position like this with Forth. He shifted his body slowly, to get away from Forth's arms, but Forth's hands reflexively pulled him back into his arms.
"Sshhh, stay still. The sun is setting now and I've never seen such a beautiful view up close," said Forth.
"Phi, this ... euh, sorry, but I'm just your assistant and this position is inappropriate. People might think differently when they see us like this," Javin said slowly.
"I've never treated my other assistants like this, even women," Forth replied in an even tone.
"B-but, I... why?" asked Javin confused.
Forth sighed and sat up straight behind Javin. "I don't know. You're different and I... always felt like I knew you before."
Javin shifted his seat, moved next to Forth and sat hugging his knees. His heart stung a bit hearing Forth's words, but he felt there was nothing he could say or do.
After all, he was well paid to accompany Forth and if it turned out to be more than just a job matter, for a man as good as Forth, why he should refuse.
Javin doesn't have a girlfriend, never fell in love with anyone, maybe he's gay because his heart quivers for a man, or bisexual, or pansexual, who cares?
He just felt comfortable and safe being beside Forth and his needs were properly met after starting to work for this handsome, wealthy man. Whatever it call, personal assistant or actually sugar baby, Javin doesn't care anymore.
The sun had set completely now. The red and orange colors change to dark blue-black. Javin turned to Forth and ventured to take his hand.
"Happy birthday, Phi Forth. I wish you all the best."
Forth turned to look at the young man beside him, who was holding his hand tightly. Javin's white face is now pink and he looks shy. Very adorable.
Forth gulped. He squeezed Javin's hand and smiled, trying to keep himself from kissing this charming young man next to him.
"Thank you," Forth replied. "Thank you too because you brought me here, took me out of a routine that I don't like and brought me to a different atmosphere. It's really fun."
Javin smiled gently. He removed his hand from Forth and stood up while cleaning his pants from the adhering sand.
"Let's go to the cabin, Phi. It's getting late and the sky is dark. We can see another beauty, the sun rises tomorrow morning."
Forth followed what his assistant was doing. They walked hand in hand to the cabin that had been rented on the other side of the beach.
The cabin consists of two rooms, a large living room, which functions as a dining and kitchen area, and another room behind the partition which functions as a bedroom with a large bed in the middle.
Javin immediately walked into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. He took two cans of fruit juice and two bottles of mineral water.
They left this afternoon, when the sky was starting to enter dusk and it was not too bright.
Javin had prepared everything since last night so they didn't have to stop by to buy something at the mini market.
Forth only took time to receive his close friends and relatives who came to wish him a happy birthday, while Javin was on campus, until it was time for them to leave.
Forth didn't say anything to anyone and Javin just left a message with the security guard at home to replace him with incoming packages.
"Phi, do you want to take a shower before dinner? I'll prepare warm water for soaking," Javin said while handing a bottle of mineral water to Forth who was turning on the television.
Forth received a mineral water bottle from Javin and turned off the television. There are no interesting events there.
He stood up and walked towards the room. "Javin, have you ordered an extra bed?" asked Forth while looking at the big bed in the middle of the room.
"Yes, Phi. They will bring it to us with our dinner" Javin replied as he walked past Forth towards the bathroom. "I'm going to turn on the water heater."
Javin's steps stopped when Forth reached out and held his hand.
"Javin," Forth said hoarsely.
Javin turned his head, wondering why Forth was holding him back and Forth's voice suddenly sounded strange.
"Just cancel it," Forth said.
"Huh? Canceled what?" asked Javin confused.
Forth pulled Javin towards him, bringing his assistant's body into his arms.
Javin's body felt stiff.
Forth pressed his lips against Javin's ear and whispered. "Cancel the extra bed. The bed is wide and you will sleep with me."
Javin's face turned red.
