Chương 248: He is Safe and Sound

Once the night came, Alwin teleported Duke Olivier to one of the receiving rooms in the building.

Dimo was still asleep in one of the guest rooms since he hadn't been sleeping properly due to nightmares the past few days. He would only be called once the adult talk was done.

Duke Olivier was pale when he was teleported into the receiving room and was puzzled to see Arabella.

"Princess, I mean, Your Majesty," Duke Olivier did his best to remain composed and greeted her properly first before asking what he had been worried about.

"Your Majesty, what is the meaning of this? This knight suddenly appeared with my son's things and told me to follow him when I was available or else my son would be in danger," Duke Olivier inquired, his hands slightly shaking.

Arabella and Alwin were the only ones to speak with the Duke so as not to intimidate him.

Ferdinand would not be there with them since his presence would be too imposing for the duke.
