Arabella just kept forgetting he used to be kind to her too because of his negative thoughts and rude comments about her in this life.

"Umm, won't you reconsider? Blanca is really pretty, kind, and gentle. She's not usually like this. It must truly be because of sleeping for too long. She must be eager to be able to roam the skies and explore again," Esmeralda tried to persuade Alwin on Blanca's behalf.

"No way. She's still a kid even if she's 1200 years old. Moreover, I just healed her wings," Alwin didn't budge. "If I had known she was of marriageable age, I wouldn't have touched her wings."
