Mikey sat on the grass with his legs spread out and both hands reclining against the ground, his head held high as he watched the bird flying freely above him. He sat in solitude while his friend, Draken, went to the convenience store nearby to get his dorayaki.
"Where did I first see her?" he mumbled to himself, trying to recall the first time he saw her at the fight matches that Kiyomasa organized.
He felt he had seen her before, but couldn't recall when, and he had been thinking about it ever since she caught them off surprise with her incredible reflexes.
"What are you thinking, Mikey?"
Draken had just returned with a bag of Mikey's dorayaki from the convenience store. He sat down next to Mikey, opening the can of soda he had bought with Mikey's food.
"I had a feeling I'd seen her before." Mikey replied to Draken's question while chewing on his dorayaki.
"Where?"
"I chunoo.." Mikey said, his mouth full of food.
His gaze was drawn to the river in front of them, evoking memories of his older brother, who used to bring him here when he was younger.
He swallowed his food and turned to Draken.
"I'm thirsty."

Everything seems to be going against her as she sighed in exasperation.
She was currently being punished inside the detention room for kicking her classmate in the face earlier this morning, resulting in the other person to be sent to the clinic immediately, and she didn't feel guilty or even regret it. Why would she feel sorry for him?
He deserves it anyway. For being such a pervert towards her classmate, Sana, he deserved to be kicked in the face. Even if she was the only one who saw it, she didn't let it pass.
"Hanagaki-chan, this is your third detention this week. Just a small reminder that you are a graduating student, and if you continue to beat your fellow students, you will have to retake another year of high school." The Principal stated as he watched her writing a one thousand word apology letter saying that she would not do it again.
She was able to finish writing the apology letter in half an hour and she was freed from her detention since she had training in the afternoon, and she ditched it again. She clutched her school bag tightly as she walked towards the Miko's coffee shop, trying to keep it from sliding into her arms as the crowd grew thicker each minute.
A newly opened pet shop had captivated her attention, and she came to a halt in front of the glass wall, admiring the dogs contained in their cages. She couldn't help but want to cuddle these puppies, but she has to rush back to work or her manager will transform into a dragon again.
Chuckling at the thought of it, there wasn't a day that her manager wouldn't turn into a dragon.
DING!
Her phone vibrated, signaling that she had a new message, which she promptly opened. The message was from her manager at the coffee shop where she worked as a part-timer, and it stated that she would be fired if she did not arrive in 10 minutes.
She took one more look at the puppies before turning around and resuming her walk, typing a fast reply of "ok" and putting the phone back in her pocket. She didn't realize there was a person in front of her and she accidentally stumbled into a person her height.
His light blue eyes and piercing in his left ear were the most striking features of this person, who had an undercut hairstyle. The guy looked at her apologetically as she gazed at him with her dull eyes before walking away after voicing her sorry.
The guy stood there, dumbfounded at the girl's cold tone. He couldn't help but feel a familiarity towards the stranger as the figure of the (h/c) haired girl faded into the busy crowd.
"Was that the girl who was on Baji-san's phone?" He pondered, with his hands in his slacks pocket, shrugging it off.
(Y/N) arrived at the coffee shop where she was working, it wasn't small, but neither was it large. If you prefer to read in silence while drinking coffee or munching pastries, the ambiance would be good enough for you. Although this shop was not well-known and she prefers it that way.
There wasn't anyone in her school who had come into this coffee shop, which she appreciated because the Principal had forbidden her from working part-time because she needed to concentrate on her education and sport. She had a lot of sponsors when she was in middle school, but they were all donated to a charity. Her medals and certificates were all that remained. Though she has no regrets because she wants to work for herself rather than accept money from strangers.
"Get your ass in there and start working."
She would have punched her boss in the face a long time ago if she could, but she needed to keep her job. Being a high school student was tough enough, but imagine how much more tough it would be once she began college.
"I don't want to think about it." she groaned as she approached the table of the newly arrived customer.
His back was facing her so she couldn't see his face. His head was hidden by a black beanie, but she could glimpse a few silver hairs from him. Dyed probably.
"Hello, I'm (Y/N), your server for today. What can I get for you?" she stated this as she held the notepad and pen in her hands, waiting for the customer to give his order.
She was so focused with the notepad in her hands that she missed to see the customer staring at her through his thick white eyelashes.
"Sir?" she talked, but her focus had shifted to the customer. Her (e/c) orbs were fixated on his purple ones all of a sudden. A slight wrinkle appeared on her forehead, when a sudden feeling of familiarity engulfed her.
'Have I ever seen him?' she pondered herself, the customer appeared to be in his early twenties, while she had only recently turned eighteen.
(Y/N) cleared her throat, slightly embarrassed by the way she stared at him. Fixing her work uniform, as she gazed down back at her note.
"I'd have a strawberry shortcake and a mocha latte, please," he replied without looking at the menu. His eyes were glued on her, and she began to feel uneasy. Despite the fact that she was used to people staring at her on a daily basis, there was something about his eyes that bothered her.
"One strawberry shortcake and a mocha latte, your order will be served in five minutes." she said quickly and walked away, leaving him with a little smile plastered on his face.
(Y/N) worked for about five hours, from five o'clock in the afternoon until nine thirty at night. Her work schedule was Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and the coffee shop closed at exactly eleven thirty.
She changed into her casual clothes after collecting her things from the staff room and bid goodbye to her fellow workers.
The chilly night wind welcomed her bare skin as soon as she stepped outside of the coffee shop, causing her to cross her arms as she began walking home.
The sound of motorbikes whizzing by on the road, as well as the laughing of those riding them, reverberated in her ears. She cast a glance over to the group of delinquents in white uniforms with whom she was unfamiliar.
"Are they construction workers?" she wondered out loud, causing one of the delinquents to snap his head in her direction.
He had a scowl on his face as he abruptly dismounted his motorbike. His blood began to boil as he approached the girl with (h/c) hair who appeared to be making fun of his gang.
"What the hell are you looking at?"
She turned to face the voice and noticed that one of the men was already standing in front of her. She had heard of several gangs in Shibuya already, but she had never seen them in uniform, so she had no idea that this group of delinquents belonged to the Moebius gang.
Anyway, she's uninterested about these gangs, she's only interested in one that she's been hunting for for years.
"What?" she said, confused. (e/c) orbs gazing at him with an uninterested face, her hands holding the strap of her bag.
"What was that look you were giving to us earlier?" He stated that with his chin up, looking down on her since he was taller. The people around seemed to be avoiding them as they began to move away, afraid of becoming involved in the situation she was in.
She cocked her head to the side. "Huh?"
"You're making that face again, Bitch!" He snarled and raised his palms, aiming to slap the female in the face but failed when a foot unexpectedly landed on his face.
(Y/N) looked over to the person who kicked the delinquent with a surprise look on her face. It was the same person she stumbled before on her way to her workplace. She didn't expect that, nor did she expect someone to intervene, because nowadays, people only care about themselves.
The rest of the motorbikers in the same uniform as this knocked out guy started dismounting their bikes, and the next thing she knew, she was being dragged by this stranger who had stepped in to help her. As if she wanted his help, she would be okay without him intervening anyway. They were being chased by a few Moebius members as they rushed towards an alleyway, his hand tightly clutching her wrist.
If she counted it correctly, they were about thirty minus one that was knocked out.
"I wish I could crush them, but I'm running late for our meeting, and if I did, my captain would murder me." The stranger continued to drag her by the wrist towards a parking lot.
"I don't even need your help." She muttered, but the man didn't hear her, so he kept running, still clutching the girl's wrist, and they came to a halt at his motorbike, which he had parked in this parking lot.
"Where do you live? I will give you a ride."
"No, thanks. I can handle myself."
"What? No, they're coming and I can't just leave you alone. Hop on." He insisted as she rolled her eyes at his stubbornness.
"It wouldn't hurt to get a free ride, right?" She muttered to herself as she climbed aboard his motorbike.
"Would it be okay if we dropped by our meeting? It will be quick, I guess." He said this as he started the engine.
"'kay," she said shortly, unaware of the fact that she would be seeing some familiar faces.
