Chương 11: Pet?
(A/N: A shorter chapter this time, only around 1250 words, kinda hard to give all the info I wanna give in a clear and concise way. Trying my best though.)

On the first Saturday of the school year, two figures can be seen facing each other in a large traditional Japanese dojo.
Circling each other, one clearly on the losing end of the exchange.
Sweat covered his body, his breathing laboured, and the visible bruises on both his arms and legs.
Chihiro POV
*PA!*
Blocking the blow with my left hand, I quickly take a step back anticipating the follow up hook being sent my way.
*Swish!!*
Barley dogging it, I immediately roll to the left, dogging a kick being sent straight for my face.
*Fuuuu...*
Breathing out slowly, I lift my guard back up, only to feel a strike hit me from behind.
"Don't get tunnel-visioned Booooyaaa~ Fufufu." Teki-sensei said, grabbing another baseball from a servant standing beside her.
Flipping a page in the novel she's reading, she starts asking me questions about how the 1st week of school went, trying to mess up my focus.
"Fuuuu~ So~ How was school~?" She asked, glancing up at me, smoke slowly spilling out of her mouth.
*pam*
Even though I finally landed a hit, I didn't let myself relax even a little.
*Woosh!*
Dipping my head down I dodge another hook, striking at my opponent again in hope that his absolutely busted mutation would malfunction or something.
*BAM!!*
"UGH!!" Let me tell you, getting kneed in the stomach isn't fun, not fun at all.
"I don't hear an answer~~~" Teki-sensei said teasingly, not caring in the slightest about me just getting absolutely manhandled by her boy toy.
Let me explain a little about the situation.
This is one of the weekly spars I have with one of Teki-sensei's pets... yeah pets.
Every high-level member of Teki-sesei's yakuza faction is required to conquer at least one man to show their understanding and proficiency in the art of seduction, manipulation, and mind break...
Yeah... you know those 30-something guys that were part of this yakuza? roughly 10 of those are Teki-sensei's pets.
Anyway, I started with sparring with her latest pet, so the newest one among them. After a few weeks of learning how to fight, and effectively use my powers in a fight, I was able to completely dominate the guy.
Even though I was pretty stoked about finally winning a spar, Teki-sensei wasn't having any of that.
Without even letting me rest, she called out pet numero~ 7, and proceeded to beat the sh*t out of me. Was kinda peeved, not gonna lie.
"...Get up... 5 minutes left." Gorilla said, Looking at me impassively.
Oh! That reminds me! I gave them all names, since they don't really introduce themselves, and they change every month or so.
The first one I fought was 'Deku'... No, he's not who you're thinking about. I named him that cause of his curly hair, and his mutation.
Number 7 was 'Kicks' since he mostly kicked me in our spars.
6 was 'Stick'... since he used a wooden sword to beat the Jesus out of me.
Skipping the rest, right now I'm sparing with 'Gorilla'... because he's built like a gorilla... I know, my naming since is godly, I know, I know.
"Ugh... give me a minute..." I responded, slowly getting back up while holding my bruised abdomen.
"...Also... answer..." He continued, referring to the question Teki-sesei asked.
Gorilla is... a man of few words if you hadn't noticed.
"Yeah~ Yeah~*Sigh*" I responded exasperatedly, *Hup!* finally getting up from my kneeling position.
"*Ugh, that's gonna leave a mark." I winced, rubbing my bruised abdomen some more.
*Swish!*
Leaning my head to the left, narrowly avoiding a speeding baseball.
"Fufu~ Still waiting, Booyaaa~" Teki-sensei chuckled, juggling a set of balls with one hand while reading her novel with the other. How she's doing this? No clue, looks impressive though.
"*Sigh* It's been pretty all right I guess, some kids are pretty annoying, but for the most part, it's fun to mess with a few of them." I responded honestly, slowly getting back into a fighting stance.
"Hoo~?" She voiced, smoke blowing out of her mouth. "Speaking of messing with people..." She continued, *Clap!* Closing her novel with an audible clap.
At this point, I was already only half paying attention to her, focusing more on not getting my ass handed to me by Gorilla.
"When are you getting your first pet~?" She asked nonchalantly, as if she didn't just drop a bomb on me.
*Pa!*
"!!!" Startled at her words, I barely redirect a fist soaring toward me.
"P-Pets!!" I panicked, Gorilla increasing the pace seeing all my openings.
*Snap!*
Being distracted, I barely noticed a fist closing in on my chin from below and snapping my head upwards in an exaggerated fashion.
Not letting up, Gorilla follows up by grabbing my hand and grabbing me over his shoulder.
*BAM!*
*Cough!!*
Feeling the air exiting my lungs from the force of the landing I cough in pain.
My head spun, my body hurt, just having an all around bad time, all I heard while I was catching my breath lying on the wooden floor, was the audible 'Fufufu~' from Teki-sensei.
'Ugh, damnit Sensei..' I thought angrily.

"So let me get this straight," I started, rubbing an ice pack on my bruised... everywhere. "Raiga-jisan wants me to attend an official hunt, but since your girls don't really like me, let alone respect me, I'll only be causing unnecessary tension in the raid team." I summarised, looking at her in disbelief.
*Sip~*
"Hmn~ It would be better if you manage two actually~" She hummed in affirmation, before adding more to the mountain of problems she just presented.
"... And why exactly do I need to get two pets?" I asked feigning ignorance, already getting all the info I needed from her fast-paced thoughts... For someone always so relaxed and slow, her thoughts sure do speed through her mind.
*Flap*
Placing a folder on the table, she motioned me to take it.
Seeing me grab the folder, she continues talking. "Since the explanation would take too long~" waving her hand in a dismissive fashion, she points to Deku standing by the door. "I had Tadashin compile everything you need to know~" She finished, taking another sip from her tea.
'So his name's Tadashin... still gonna call him Deku though.' I thought, glancing in his direction before opening the folder and checking the info that was written inside.
"He also added potential pets you can try to win over *Sip* Hmn~" She said, savouring her drink happily.
Looking over the different names and basic information of the candidates on the page, I slowly come to a somewhat obvious realization.
"They're all dudes..." I muttered, looking up only to be greeted by a smirking Teki-sensei. 'Of course, they're all dudes.' I internally facepalmed.
"Do they-" Before I can finish my question, Teki-sensei interrupts me.
"Yes~ Yes~, They don't both have to be male," She started, pausing to give me a sense of hope. "Buuut~" She continued, her smirk growing. "The first one definitely has to be, and it has to be from the list provided~." She finished, placing her empty tea cup on the tray before standing up and walking away, leaving me with nothing but my own thoughts.
'I'm not gay though...' I internally complained, completely ignoring my questionable search history from my past life.
