Chương 44: The Fourth Floor
In a closed room a young boy could be seen huffing and puffing while lying down on the bare floor.
At first glance the situation of the boy seemed serious with half of his spear missing leaving only the shaft in his hand, his armor in tatters and his whole person covered in blood but upon closer inspection one would notice that below the broken armor one couldn't see even the slightest wound.
On the other hand the other two creatures that were within the room weren't as lucky.
One of them had a light green colour, a drake of the wood element no doubt, but his whole skull was missing, taking a look around the room one could see green pieces of scales all around making the cause that killed the drake obvious, it was an explosion, and it would seem that it came from within the mouth of the creature.
But it would seem that the green drake was far luckier than it's partner the blue drake.
The drake of the water element was in a pitiful state, it's tail was cleanly cut of, the body was riddled with slender and precise cuts and hair raising holes that reached and even surpassed the depth of the bone.
But the worst of all was it's head, other than the teeth that were completely gone at this point half of it's lower jaw was also missing, it would seem that it was caused by another explosion albeit a less powerful one that the one that caused the death of green drake.
And that's not all, two bloody tears lines were running down it's head, clearly pointing to the fact that it's eyes were greviously injured or even destroyed.
But the fatal injury clearly came from the broken spear that went through the missing part of it's jaw and pierced strait through to the back of it's head.
Finaly after 5 minutes Bell finaly found his breath and got up.
Looking at the corpses a glimpse of fear couldn't help but flash through his eyes and he couldn't help but say.
"Two drakes with elements that boost each other are truly no laughing matter!"
Of the 7 basic elements in the world, light and darkness counter each making it so that the mage that has the most mana wins, but the other 5 elements are way different.
Water promotes wood, wood promotes fire, fire promotes earth, earth promotes metal, metal promotes water, it is a virtuous circle that will only end when the world ends.
On the other hand water suppresses fire, wood suppresses earth, fire suppresses metal, earth suppresses water and metal suppresses wood.
On the previous floors Bell didn't have to worry about that since the first floor had only a fire drake and the drakes of the second floor had not only fire and metal drakes that didn't go well together but were also swallowed by the abomination.
But now after facing the combined attacks from the drakes he realised his blunter, had it not been that water and wood are great at supporting such as healing, boosting and trapping and there were instead a combo of wood and fire drakes then he would he would have lost a limb or two before winning.
"Whatever, i even managed to kill the wood drake with a sneak attack at the beginning and used the water drake as a practice target to level up my martial arts!"
Thinking of this Bell finaly used gluttony and absorbed the 2 drakes.

Seeing all this Bell merely raised his eyebrow.
"As expected, i had the feeling that my body was feeling stuffy for quite a while now..."
Bell then looked at the wish stone, it was a crystal clear gem the size of his palm.

[Note: Not all wishes will be granted, the more achievements one has aquired in his life the more lenient that system will be.]
Bell just put the stone away while wandering what was the best use for this thing before he once again looked at the panel.
This floor might has been the hardest on yet and it wasn't even close!
I banned myself from using magic so i could train my martial arts and it worked perfectly!
Martial arts is now one the verge of evolving and my other 2 most used skill on this floor were 'weaken presence' and 'hide'.
Weaken presence went from being a tier 1 magic skill to a tier 3 evolving many times, from weaken presence to erase presence and the finaly presence manipulation.
The uses of these skills are exactly what one would think, erace presence makes you better at completely eracing your presence and presence manipulation lets you increase or increase your presence at will.
Hide also evolved to sneak and then obscure, making you able from simply being able to hide your tracks to even setting up traps to confuse the enemy.
All in all, i can now be considered a top tier rouge.
Bronze body also reached level 10 and the mission is once again to consume 3 monsters that possesses an evolved skill that constitutes 'bronze body' and the drakes i just killed had one each so i am 2/3 done.
But not all skill are improving so smoothly.
Faster thinking, danger sense and battle sense have all reached level 10 but there is no mission for evolution, thankfully genius came clutch once again, according to it after i make enhance senses reach level 10 then something major will happen.
Mana manipulation is also stuck but this time it didn't even reach max level and just stopped leveling up at stage 9 level 9, i trully have no clue as to how fix this, my only hope is genius saving me once again or perhaps getting out of here and studing some advanced magic books.
Last but not least are the mana veins which almost killed me, yes as it would turn out boosting any of my stats any more than 2 time will cause huge damage to my body within seconds making it something that i will have to figure out when bronze body evolves, mixing every mana vein together is also only possible is you were to give me a couple of years to figure it out.
So basically my martial arts skill is the only thing that can surely increase my combat strength in a short amount of time, which is realy bad news!
Thinking of this i couldn't help but rub my temples, i even lost my spear and even though i have more weapons the quality is not nearly enough to keep up with my fights.
Just as i was thinking of this i looked over at where the corpses of the drakes used to be.
There, in it's full glory laid a dagger.
Seeing this my eyes couldn't help but light up and with light steps i made my way to it, but the closer i came to it the more i started to think that it looked more like a kitchen knife and less like a dagger.
Feeling that something isn't right i made my way to it even faster before i promptly picked it up.

Seeing this my eyes opened as wide as saucers, finaly after 3 whole floors i finaly got a named item.
To create a named item one would have to be the best in their craft, to be using the best meterials and to be extremely lucky then the system itself will go ahead and name it and bless it with added effects!
One could see how valuable a named item was by it's rarity, after all it took me 3 whole floors to find one inside this dungeon!

Seeing the stats i felt my knees weaken, this system is just trolling me at this point!
...Nevermind i don't have time to waste, i already have plently of unnamed weapons to use for the time being, the only thing that is scaring me is the system comment!
If i hadn't know for sure that there exist no demons and by extension succubi i would have thought that the next floor would be full of them!
Still i have to keep going, i still have to safe Yumi and even if i were to stay here my strength would increase way too slow for my liking, so on we go.
But just as i stepped on the stairs the whole thing collapsed and a huge force sucked me down to the bottom.
Looking at the bottomless pit swalowing me down i couldn't help but roll my eyes, i knew something was going to happed from my danger sense but it's not like there is a second way downwards so i just let it be, secondly i only felt a faint sense of unease and not a life threatening danger so i should be a able to handle it.
And thus i kept falling for about 5 minutes, thankfully no monster came to attack.
"BANG"
WIth a bang i crash feet first on what felt like dirt, due to my stats and my defence magic veins being used to the very limits i felt relatively unscathed, relatively is the key word here since the bones of my feet were practicaly in tatters, still it's a pretty good outcome all things considered.
I use the agility mana veins and climb out of the pit, which was at the very least 2 meters deep, and take a good look around.
Good news is that there is no immediate form what i can see, bad news is that i just fell in a completely strait and empty valey so the crater i created sticks out like a sore thumb.
Looking around i found a large patch of tree so i kept using the agility mana veins to crawl my way to cover.
Finaly after i went deep inside enough where i wouldn't be easily noticed but shallow enough where i could see what was happening in the valey and started casting healing spells on my legs, in hind sight i sould have probably fallen with my hand instead of my feet since that would mean that most of my mobility would stay intact.
Even fighting, even if i had broken my arms i could still fight with legs but now i am like a sitting duck waiting to be cornered.
My thoughts were interrupted by a feminine war cry from my right followed by another equaly feminine cry from the left.
Somewhat weirded out i reduce my presence as much as possible and take a good look around.
Now looking at it there definatly something wrong with the valey, it was like a strait like cleanly pierced through the forest, making some kind of road.
The two sides also finaly showed up, from what i can see there seems to be around 200 people on each side, all tall and mature women with all kinds of different kind of weapons in their hands.
The women wore 2 strips of cloth that covered only the most important parts, or at least tried since most often than not their assets were not able to be covered up with only a piece of cloth.
The only thing i could see that was different from one side to another was that one side had a slightly lighter skin colours and their clothes were white in colour while the other side had darker skin colour with black clothes.
Each side left a sizable distance between each side and just stayed put for a moment before a woman from each group came foreward and begun walking to the center.
The woman on the light side had a huge sword at least 2 meters long and the dark side had a rapier in her hand and a belt made out of hunted animals fit with throwing daggers.
They got close and begun to speak and to my surprice i could understand them, albeit only barely.
They were speaking the beast tongue!
Hallelujah, my art skill came in clutch!
Unfortunatly i can only make out simple words and phrases, still it is better than nothing.
Finaly i used my newly up graded skill on them.
'Examine'
Examine is the last evolution before 'identify' and has the ability to give very limited info about the target but it is still better than nothing.

The one with the light clothes was Mimi and the one in the dark clothes was Nini, the race is laid bare right in front of my eyes.
Now everything makes sense, including the system comment!
As for why i hadn't thought of the naga?
Well thats actualy simple, they were supposed to be extinct!
