It's been two weeks since I started helping the Ravenclaw, I can tell with each passing day he is having trouble containing his inner demons. The problem with ingesting demon blood is, without the proper procedures the one who ingested it will turn almost feral.
If I remember correctly the demons used this method to mass-produce meat shields and to spread chaos during the second mythical war, this was mainly to shield the angels and wizards from finding their true intentions.
I'm keeping him close for multiple reasons, one it makes him view me as a good professor, and two, it lets me be close enough to assess the level of his growing madness.
For when that level rises he is not going to make it through the year or to Christmas break. Either he massacres as many students as he can or he will summon the demon somewhere on Hogwarts grounds.
Usually, there would be wards up preventing such a thing on Hogwarts grounds seeing as in wartime Hogwarts was used as a sanctuary guarding against angels and demons alike.
But now, almost seventy-five percent of the wards are deactivated, I honestly don't really think it was all Albus's fault. Many Headmasters have decided to try and mess with the wards, some fail, and end up destroying some while others succeed and take out the ones they didn't like. And once a ward is gone it's gone forever, especially since most of the magic used for the wards is now lost in time, also in my private library.
I got up from my bed, then I took some ground unicorn horn powder mixed with lemongrass and cypress, holding a handful loosely I threw it in the right-hand corner of my room, I repeated the process to each corner then I left to begin my lessons for the day.
The powder will have a magical cleansing effect, and by the time I'm done with my classes, no residual magical energy will be left in the room.
This process is an advanced method for more magically sensitive divination practices.

I finished up with my last class, and as I was packing up my supplies a student walked into my classroom, it was a Ravenclaw with blond hair, he seemed almost whimsical by the way he walked in with a peculiar gait, not drunken but like he had sea legs.
He was also the student who noticed the incense I was using.
"Sirr!" he exclaimed with a giant smile
"Yes?" I asked
"Your eyes are freaky~" he sang
I chuckled, "And?"
"I like your class, can you tutor me more in-depth?" he asked suddenly going all serious young kid mode on me
I looked at him intently, something was peculiar about his magic, something that made me stop to think.
"Let me think about it," I replied while walking toward my door
"Thank you!" he perked up instantly
"You better hurry off to class Mr. Lovegood," I told him as I exited my room, I'm not worried about anyone touching anything in my room
As I walked through the dimly lit corridors toward my room I made sure to recount every step I needed to take for what I was about to do. Being as old as I am there are certain lessons one learns throughout the ages. One of the most important ones is to always be careful of what you do and don't be complacent.
Many of these rituals and divination arts I perform I know like the back of my hand but the second I get too comfortable something will go wrong.
For example with the divination, I am about to execute I need a room clear of all magical traces. A bundle of tarragon the more aged and kept the better, and finally, I must use ancient Greek to begin the spell work.
Tarragon might seem like a very mundane herb but, in ancient Greece, tarragon better known at that time as Artemisa was said to be the herb Artemis gave to Chiron to cure bites from beasts and poisonous creatures. A lesser-known application of this herb is what I'm going to be using, Artemisa when burned along with the previous steps can produce a thick smog, and through that smog, images will be depicted of a great hunt.
Today I must learn what my great hunt will be. Although Mr. Note has just recently come into contact with demon blood I can tell his mind is already close to reaching its breaking point.
I just can't figure out WHY! Why would a demon give a human wizard its blood like this? There is no war going on having cannon fodder is meaningless right now. The demons might be gathering but this is too drastic of a step unless the demons just want to create frivolous chaos I cannot see the point of what's happening right now.
*narrator pov*
Morpheus is very old and in that old age, he has definitely gained some flaws to his already crooked personality. One of them is paranoia, inherently a healthy amount of paranoia is a good thing one simply needs it to survive in this world but, the amount of paranoia Morpheus has correlates closely with his immense knowledge.
He simply cannot handle not knowing something.
In that way, he and Dumbledore are quite similar although for Morpheus the problem is a little bigger.
On the opposite side of the castle Minerva McGonagall was in the headmaster's office. Both of them were drinking tea while going over the recent happenings in the school.
Minerva shook her head with disappointment, "Albus I can't see why you hired that man," her thick Scottish accent sounding overly disappointed at the moment
Albus took a sip of his tea and then relaxed gently into his chair sighing he calmly replied in a sagely tone, "Minerva, when you grow older you will begin to appreciate the simpler things in life, that young man obviously wanted to be hired here for more reasons than just teaching. Best to have an eye on him in the castle rather than the wild,"
Minerva widened her eyes a bright smile now adorning her aged face, "should I keep a close eye on him?" she asked hurriedly
The old headmaster shook his head lightly, "No, I'll keep my eyes on him. Focus on teaching the students hopefully, some are gifted in Transfiguration this year,"

A Ravenclaw student shifted uncomfortably in his slumber, his hands seemingly trying to grasp for something out of reach. Tears were gently falling from his eyes as he saw over and over again his family being brutally murdered.
His young healthy mind was slowly turning on itself turning him into something colder, more ruthless, and above all dangerous.
Time would tell how long he can hold out before all hell breaks loose.
