Luminous' Quarters,
Galahad woke up and stretched his arms yawning. He opened his eyes but everything around him was so bright that he closed them back up again, since when did he start living in bright places?! He groaned and rubbed his eyes lazily before looking around, this time observing his surroundings. "Oh right." he slightly smiled sitting up on the bed, he remembered restricting his metabolism to make it a fair match for Carrion.
That ended with him getting drunk and passing out. He looked up slightly, this place seemed familiar for some reason like a certain Vampire Queen's- OH SHIT! He qucikly removed the covers from the place and seeinfg that there was no one there let out a sigh of relief. Thank god! He wasn't keen on being for lack of better words raped in his sleep though knowing Luminous she would never do it.
She too had pride as a ruler so if she were to do that it would be disgraceful. "So why did.....Luminous?" he wondered out loud. One of his maids could have come and picked him up, there was no need to bring him here. He looked at the old man who was silently standing in the corner of the room.
He slightly smiled, "You think.....I didn't notice you?" he asked amused, judging by the surprised look on his face Galahad was right. The butler cleared his throat before bowing respectfully, "Would you like anything my Lord?" he asked still bowing, Lady Luminous assigned him here and he would do his job! Even if he didn't want to he didn't have the guts to even try to disrespect the Lord of Calamity.
Galahad looked at him for a few moments, "Food?" he asked a bit confused, that was the first thing you do right? The butler nodded, "Lady Luminous is currently eating as well, would you like to join her?" he asked politely receiving a nod from Galahad who stood up yawning. He stretched his arms again before putting them into his hoodie and following behind the butler.
He was lead through an empty hallway, his only thoughts during that were that this place was too goddamn white and silver! Like literally everything, from walls to doors to decorations everything here was either white or silver in color. It was actually surprising that Luminous lived here without getting a headache due to the extremely bright colors.
Eventually they reached a large dining room which had a table set up in the middle. Now contrary to what one would expect from Luminous there were only several seats here. One for her, two for the Valentine brothers and two extras just in case someone was visiting. He slightly whistled walking over to a seat, "I would have expected.....something more....lavish." he said yawning as he sat down.
Luminous looked at him curiously, "Why would you think that? I'm not someone who wastes money." she said drinking red wine? scratch that. Blood from a glass, she wanted to ask him about his stay but that could come later! Galahad deadpanned, "I don't remember....the time you bought a restaurant...just because there were no....tables there for us." he said looking at the food that was somehow already here, this girl knew he would be here!
Luminous looked away slightly blushing, "T-That was..please forget about that." she said slightly bowing her head, it wasn't her fault! She finally got a chance to on a date with Galahad and the stupid restaurant told her they were already reserved! So she did the next best thing, she bought it and kicked every customer out! Was it worth it? Of course it was!
"So why am I....here?" he asked cutting up the steak and putting a piece in his mouth, this girl also knew his favorites! Nobody eats such a heavy food in the morning and judging by her own light breakfast it was obvious she ordered this because she was aware of what he would want to eat. That made him slightly happy, for someone to know that much and actually care.
Luminous deadpanned, "Would you prefer to be raped by Guy?" she asked blandly, she was sure Guy would be able to convince or even coerce the others into letting her take Galahad. Galahad slightly shivered, "You're ...right." he said before slightly bowing, "Thank you." he said gratefully, he liked to be on top! It is again stated that he didn't actually lack pride just he was too unbothered by others to care, so at least in bed he would never be the submissive one!
Luminous slightly smiled and nodded, "No problem." she said accepting his thanks, she was aware that he was genuinely thanking her. "So about.....the favor from...1500 or something....years ago." Galahad said yawning, he had gotten slightly more serious about it. Luminous raised her brow, "What about it?" she asked curiously, of course she remembered what she owed him for building her entire kingdom, the night city included.
Galahad looked up in thought before sighing, "Another war....is coming." he said a bit annoyed, he was just observing the Empire right now and Rudra had ordered that they would move in an year, this was a change in canon and Galahad knew the reason. His constant bombing made them more adapted to regathering their forces and now they were ready to move quicker than they were originally supposed to.
Luminous pouted, "Hmph!" she turned away folding her arms, for once she would like to have a good conversation, a simple nice conversation that didn't involve death, destruction war or even someone else. A conversation between the two of them! But she also understood that he had far more responsibilities than he let on.
Galahad however ignored her, he was deep in thought. A year? Since the Mariabell part was done for because he killed her, all that was left now was the Demon Capital Founding Arc including the tournament and the dungeon. Hinata would no longer confront Rimuru again because she didn't even fight him in the first place.
In other words he kicked canon in the balls so hard that he removed two entire arcs from existence and the only thing left now was the Empire's invasion of Tempest and the following Tenma War. The Demon Capital founding where Tempest would officially announce it's presence and hold a festival was something that didn't concern him and he wasn't going to bother with it because he was too lazy for it.
He needed to hibernate for the next year so that he could obtain Creation Lord Ahura Mazda, this meant that the time he came back would be the same as the time the Tenma War is ready to start up. That was good, he could avoid any useless arcs and spend his time obtaining Ahura Mazda.
Luminous looked at Galahad who seemed to be out of it and slightly smiled before clearing her throat snapping him out of it. Galahad starightened up a bit, a plan was formed! Hibernate to create Ahura Mazda, fight the Empire, force Michael to intervene, kill and take over Michael, and finally take over Heaven!
That would guarantee this world's peace, fullfil his life long goal of conquering Heaven and finally allow him to return to his family! "The Eastern Empire." Galahad muttered out putting some more food in his mouth. Luminous scowled at his words, "Those annoying bugs." she said annoyed, they had been trying to invade them for centuries and woul've already done so if the stupid lizard didn't destroy their armies.
"I'll go this.....time." Galahad said yawning making Luminous smile widely, "Then that's already settled." she said a bit happy, if Galahad was moving then she was pretty sure the Empire was done for already. Galahad chuckled slightly ,a bit too much trust no? His face turned slightly cold, "Alone." he said sharply making Luminous look at him for a few moments before nodding.
The war this time was a display of might and power and his return to the world. If he simply wanted Mariabell dead he could have killed her by himself, the entire kingdom could have been wiped off the face of the planet with a single thought. This time he wasn't after a display of might or power, he simply wanted the Empire gone simple as that.
He didn't like killing a lot but if the soldiers refused to surrender he would kill every single one of them, if the civilians get in his way then as much as he would hate it he would kill them all as well. He was at his base someone who prioritized effciency in completing tasks. Seeing as there would be no harm in killing them all, he would do it if necessary.
Though he would issue a warning, simpy killing them all without even giving them a chance was unnecessary and simply evil and sadistic. No he wasn't a good person either but he wasn't someone who liked others suffering either, he was simply a selfish bastard and he knew that. "I see." Luminous nodded a bit serious this time.
Galahad yawned and looked straight into her eyes, "Can I-" he didn't get to finish his words because Luminous gulped and looked at him with a slight blush, "C-Can you?" she asked a bit embarrassed completely misunderstanding his words. Galahad facepalmed, "Can I...trust you with....the Aerial Corps?" he asked sincerely, those warships were going to circle around over the water so he couldn't stop them.
They had160,000 fighters among them too so they were by no means a small force, with each of them having skills and then the magical cannons on the airships as well. Luminous looked at him for a few moments, processing what just happened, "Hmph!"
