Galahad looked at Luminous and said, "I will make your city for you..." making Luminous stare at him confused, they could just do that themselves, "You may be wondering what I mean by that....It will be instantaneous and I can make it as you image it..." his lips curled up, "An ethereal city appearing out of nowhere would be proof of a God no?" he asked curiously. Luminous rubbed her chin in thought, "Indeed it would be." but they could build it themselves too although it would take centuries to complete both it and the Night City.
"You say you can do it in an instant, and I presume you must be talking about the Night City as well?" she asked curiously, that would be very advantageous to her, instantly building up both the surface city and the underground as well would allow her to work on the religion part of it, neither resources nor money would be expended and she would be an idiot to reject this offer but, "What do you want in exchange?" she asked in a stern voice, she was a ruler and she had to account for her people.
Galahad nodded, "In exchange.....I want your full backing in my endeavors." Luminous comically stumbled backward as Galahad chuckled, did she expect him to ask for a part or something? He was too lazy for that stuff! Luminous rubbed her head in confusion, she did indeed expect him to ask for a share or something, "My backing? Just that? Not even aid?" she asked trying to confirm it. Galahad slightly nodded, "Yes that's it.....that's all I want." Now some may think that this was stupid or he could ask for more, but they need to remember how much influence her religion, Luminism had at the time the story started. It was the most prominent religion in the world and held influence over many countries, the backing of the de facto leader of that religion was no small thing, and it would be very important for pacifying everything once he made his next move.
Luminous thought about it for a bit, contemplating her gains and losses and nodded, "Fine! If you can do it then I swear by name, Luminous Valentine that you will have my full backing." she trusted him as a fellow Demon Lord and as someone who protected her in a near death situation, it was fine! Besides she gained a lot from this deal, she had however underestimated how much influence would spread as time passed. Galahad slightly smiled and walked over, he extended his hand and she firmly grasped it. Shaking their hands both of them smiled at each other.
Galahad turned around and scratched his cheek, "Is this...all?" he asked looking at the vampires surrounding them, the numbers were in hundreds in other words quite small these were supposed to be all that was left of her kind. She nodded begrudgingly, she had lost a lot of her people to those accursed flies. Galahad was quite surprised but shrugged and raised his hand as a magic circle appeared beneath them all, he turned to Luminous who was curiously looking at the magic formations, "Where...to?" Luminous nodded and told him the location, it was the singular peak next to the barren wastelands directly north of the western edge of the Great Forest of Jura. Galahad nodded and in an instant they were there.
Luminous looked around with wide eyes, mass teleportation was not a thing yet so this was quite surprising, she smiled he was amazing after all! Just a little bit though! She went next to him, "Tell me what that magic is." Galahad was about to answer but a black haired male looking like someone in his middle ages walked forward rubbing his hands with glowing eyes, "How did you? That spell doesn't work because of the spatial transfer causing problems, during our tests it ended in implosion or deformation, may I...." he kept rambling on and on. Luminous cleared her throat, "*ehm* I apologize these guys are nerds." she said throwing him way. Galahad shrugged, he knew they were magic and science nerds.
She pointed to the mountain, "I would like it there and as for how it is supposed to look-" began describing it in detail, Galahad yawned and zoned out he couldn't be bothered to listen to it all! She pulled his ear, "Hey! Are you listening?" she could feel that he wasn't? Galahad didn't even feel it and replied, "Yes?" Luminous pouted, "Listen then!" Galahad sighed and stood up before placing his hand on her head. She tried to move it away but failed, "H-Hey! Don't touch me!"
"Imagine it..." Galahad muttered ignoring that she was now trying to break his arm. "Fine!" she angrily said and imagined the city she wanted built, some may think how could she be capable of it but they should know she was a centuries old vampire not a human and she had intrinsic skills which allowed such high level of thought. Galahad nodded and took the information from her mind, it was only because she for some reason wasn't putting up her guard otherwise it would be akin to mind rape.
Her eyes widened, "Did you just!?" had he just taken the thoughts from her mind?! That was incomprehensible! "What wizardry is this?" she asked him, wanting to know what he did but he shrugged how would he know, "It's one of those racial skills...." he replied receiving a nod, that may as well be the case since no such magics were present in this age.
Galahad raised both his hands and pointed them at the location, he fired off many Nuclear Strikes completely decimating the place forming a large crater that had a lot of depth, it was place for the Night City and Luminous seeing that kept silent and watched on. Galahad took a deep breath, losing his lazy look, this required a lot of attention. He used his twilight magic, something unique to Nephalem.
The vampires eyes widened from shock, Luminous herself was the same, this was unbelievable! A city was being built up from the crater! It was for now see through so it looked like an illusion, Galahad was concentrating this was because he was building up any water lines, foundations and the like out of nothing. After a few minutes, the Night City was completed, it lost it's see through characteristic and became completely solid. One of the vampires muttered, "Is this the might of a Demon Lord?" they were in awe at what had just happened, he had created a city out of nothing! and it wasn't a small one either literally occupying hundreds of miles!
Another surge of light out as another city with a large central tower alongside the mountain, started appearing from the ground up. This was a testament to the power of the Demon Lords! But to the human on lookers in the area it was as if a God had descended here with his castle. A few minutes later, a majestic city with ethereal beauty stood in the previously desolate area. Luminous walked forward slowly, "Is this real?" she asked not being able to believe her eyes, this was simply outside the realm of creation magic!
Galahad yawned and sat down, "Sigh.....that took a lot out of me..." he muttered as he looked at Luminous and the Vampires with an amused face. "Welcome to your new home and country....I guess." Galahad said slightly smiling, he was proud of his work was it that wrong?! Luminous came near him and grabbed his hand, "I thank you!" she said, he had made a new home for them and while she had been planning it, she knew it would have taken a lot of time and it would never even come near what he had made.
Galahad chuckled, "You're welcome, besides it'll....be worth it." this simple ok not simple extremely complex and taxing task would enable him to gain the backing of the Western Holy Church and it was worth it in his books. She nodded happily and let his hand go, "I apologize, I may have gotten a bit too excited." she said scratching the back of her head a bit embarrassed. Galahad shook his head, no just no he doesn't want to deal with this!
Shaking his head he asked, "So what are you going to call it?" he knew the name already but it was just for the epic moment. She nodded and stood in front of it before turning around her back facing the ethereal city, "The Holy Kingdom of Ruberios!" she announced, he nodded at the name as the Vampires clapped their hands happy with the name and the city. Galahad yawned and said, "So...I'll be off now" She turned to him, "You won't stay for the party?" Galahad shook his head and teleported away, for now he just wanted to sleep. She grumbled and walked away, fine then she doesn't care!
A FEW MINUTES LATER,
Galahad sat in a chair while being shaken by Milim, "Let's go play! or fight!" she shouted excitedly, Galahad ignored her and sipped his tea which was falling all over the table. He chopped her head, "Let me eat!" he shouted and slumped down on the chair. She slightly tilted her head to the side, "Then you won't fall asleep?" after all ever since he came back he had been trying to run off again, shouting he wanted to sleep.
Galahad suddenly realized something and sat straight up, "Hey Milim?" he turned towards her making her stop shaking him, "Hmm?" did he finally come around? Galahad rubbed his chin in thought, "What would you say....to me moving into your territory?" he wanted to leave this place since corruption had taken hold of it and the King was trying to order him to do something, he always rejected it but it was still annoying. She instantly nodded, "It's fine!" she would be very glad with him staying there! And then she could stop eating the raw food her followers kept trying to feed her and eat the heavenly food prepared by his maids!
Galahad nodded, "Then I guess...we're moving." as for him giving the King his word? What was that? Could he eat it? Curtis knew he wasn't a man of his word when he made that deal so it wasn't Galahad's fault, besides he had protected this place from the angels so it was fine! At that time Mizari and Rein brought in the food and placed it on the table. Both him and Milim began eating, after this they would move to Milim's territory, creating a mansion would now be child's play.
Galahad wanted revenge on Guy too, but he was thinking it would be too much of a pain, and that's why when he next encountered the guy he would seal him in a separate space for 600 years as revenge! You reap what you sow! They also had a new Demon Lord to welcome into their ranks, Continent's Wrath Dagruel.
