He understood how perilous the situation was, and he knew that if they didn't get reinforcements here, it would be nearly impossible for them to get out of this.
"I can help you get out," the old man suddenly said.
"Oh, then I must thank you, senior," the special instructions officer said to the old man.
But after saying that, he paused and stared at the old man intensely.
"Hehe," the old man laughed bitterly.
This young man in front of him saw right through him.
He wanted something.
"Meet me behind the prison tonight," the old man said before turning around and walking off slowly.
Looking at the old man's back, the cadets couldn't help but sigh.
The old man was willing to send them off even though they didn't have enough men and he would have to remain and fight.
"Don't say a word about this to anyone," the special instructions officer turned around to say to the cadets.
