Eva was frustrated, and now she was all out to get the one behind all this, full and final,
This time she wants the game to be fair, so she called the cops, and officially filed a complaint, as an attempt to murder.
David was still unconscious, Ben and Eva were there taking shifts to look after him, at night Ben asked Eva to go back to take a rest, and she went back,
The next day morning, David opened his eyes, and everyone relaxed. But suddenly there were some visitors to see him, the cops,
" Are you Mr.David, ?"
David was shocked to see the police here in the hospital,
" yes I am but, what is it, sir?"
They sent everyone out to talk to David,
" Sir, your family filed a complaint that there was an attempt to murder you" he was shocked,
"what? family..., who?"
" your wife," the cop said,
David was furthermore surprised this time,
" but..." then he thought it over, that it must be Eva,
" yes sir, I was hit on my head by someone," said David,
" yes, but the other was more dangerous," said the cop,
David was shocked,
" other one?"
" oh sir, you don't know?" said the cop,
" you were given drugs sir, I got the reports," he added,
David took the file and understood why Eva did that,
The cop said,
" do you doubt anyone?"
"I didn't see, I can't doubt"
Eva came in and said,
" But I have something to say, she showed a file to them,"
"but who are you?" the cop asked,
"his fiancee," said Eva, David started coughing,
They took the file from his hands and started reading it, a cop noticed something and compared the file with that of Davids,
" the drugs given are the same..."
he pointed out that,
" Can you tell me whose file is this," she took them to Suzie, and said,
" It's a confidential matter, can you investigate in secret, "
Jerry came rushing as it was his case,
" What is this fuss all about Eva? why are the cops here?"
Eva doesn't want Jerry to be involved so she took him away and said,
" It's nothing Jerry, they are just looking for something, it's not important, don't worry,"
Jerry still felt uneasy,
" but are they here for Suzie's case",
" no, but what about Suzie's case? do you have any doubts, Jerry?"
she asked casually,
Jerry seems to know nothing about this, he said,
"hmm, I have to inform her family if it is about her, that's it"
The cops were in the record room, checking the ins and outs of the medicines, but they couldn't find anything,
they came to Eva and said,
" ma'am we didn't find anything fishy, so I don't think there is anything wrong with the records,"
" hmm... ok, so what are you planning to do now, do you need any help from me, I can help with anything in this hospital," said Eva,
" no ma'am that's fine, we are done here so we'll take our leave," they left from there,
Jerry looked confused,
"See, I told you, it's nothing serious,"
Jerry nodded his head, with a smile.
She went back to David, as she knows that he had a lot to ask now,
David was eagerly waiting for her to get his answers,
"So, you are here,"
Eva smiled at him,
" Can you explain, Eva" he added.
" hmm, so what do you want to ask?" she was ready to explain, but the door opened, and Ben came in with a bottle of water after a long surgery,
"what is going on Guys?" he said casually,
" hi, Ben meet my wife, Eva" David said sarcastically,
Ben choked the water and coughed out, ...
"What...?" he gazed shockingly,
Eva smiled and said,
" let me explain,"
they both gazed at her and she started
" here's the thing, I know it is a bigger matter and we can not do it on our own, as we don't have any evidence, we need to take help from those who can find evidence,"
"From whom?" asked Ben innocently, as he doesn't know the cop's visit,
" The cops Ben," she said,
" you called the cops? but, did you call his family too, you asked me not to," Ben said,
Eva just smiled and David added in,
" no, my wife filed a complaint"
" What...? Era...?" asked Ben confusingly,
"no, that's me," said Eva admitting what she did, Ben glared at her furiously,
"Oh...come on Ben, it's just for the bigger picture, I told you, I am not interested in marrying a Robot,"
David looked at her seriously and Ben started laughing, they started talking to each other and Eva moved out,
" Respected sir, I am going to check on Era, and guys carry on with your chit-chat, bye, good night"
she was on her way to Era's room but her phone rang, it was an unfamiliar number, so she lifted it,
" Hello"
"Hello, ma'am, it's me, the watchman, I called you to inform you that the one you were searching for is here, that lady, I just saw her enter the hospital," said that man.
" Is it just be careful, I'll be there," said Eva, and the phone was disconnected.
She rushed to the parking lot to meet the watchman, she looked around but couldn't find him,
" ma'am I am here" a suppressed tone from the back called Eva, she turned back and saw him waving his hand at her,
she ran to him and they hide behind a car, he pointed to a black car and said
"that is her car, she often comes with it,"
Eva took out her phone and clicked some pictures of the vehicle, and the number plate, she already guessed who could it be, but the one she wants to see was not her but the real culprit, the doctor behind all this, so she waited patiently,
After a while, the watchman said,
" ma'am I can't stay here any further, it may be dangerous for both of us, I'll go back first to the gate, be careful ma'am, please don't show yourself," and he went back to the gate.
Eva was eager to see his face and for a better view she went to hide on the other side of the parking lot,
After waiting for two hours, she saw a lady coming toward the car, along with her there was another person, but it was so far, she couldn't see that person clearly in dark,
she bent forward and tried to record a video of them with her phone, but suddenly her phone rang and she was noticed by them, she hid, behind the tree but a running steps sound came nearer to her, she panicked and tried to find a place to hide.. but someone was already so near,
That lady was Serra, but the person with her she couldn't figure it out. Sierra with a huge rod in her hand was searching for Eva and she was hiding from her, suddenly Eva's mouth was covered by someone's hand...but who...!!
Will Eva be able to escape from them?.... or she will be caught...?
who could be the one to catch her?..
