"I can't afford to lose face. Your father can't afford to lose face!" Mother Su couldn't take it anymore and said.
Her daughter's divorce was not a glorious thing to begin with, and the whole incident had even spread to other people. How could the Su family live with this?
Mother Su turned slightly to Su Nianen. "It's one thing for them to point fingers at me, but what about your father? He's been respected for his entire life and just when he's nearing retirement, people are pointing fingers at him because of you!"
